Wild Leather
At level 30, you can obtain quests in Feathermoon Stronghold that result in recipes for [Wild Leather Leggings], [Wild Leather Vest], [Wild Leather Shoulders], [Wild Leather Boots], [Wild Leather Helmet], and [Wild Leather Cloak]. These recipes are for Leatherworking 220-250, and can be completed around levels 40-45.
Horde
There are the specialty leatherworking quests that one would have to do to become either a Dragonscale, Elemental, or Tribal leatherworker.
There is also the Wild Leather quest line, found in Camp Mojache, in Feralas. The quest giver is the Leatherworking Supplies vendor in the building across from the inn. These quests involve many easily made Leatherworking items, such as Nightscape items and Turtle Scale items (turtle scales can be easily grinded for in either Dustwallow Marsh or The Hinterlands), and a lot of [Wildvine]. The rewards aren't really worth it if you aren't a leather wearer though, Wild Leather pieces all have <Random Enchantment> so it's hard to make them for specifically one person.
Also, there is a very low level quest for the recipe to make Kodo Hide Bags, a six slot bag. Considering it only takes a couple [Light Leather] to finish the quest and it's always useful to be able to make a bag, no matter how small, it's a good quest to finish. You don't even have to leave Thunder Bluff. (Kodo Hide Bags do, however take a few [Thin Kodo Leather] to make, which is a low drop rate mat from any and all kodos - Mulgore, The Barrens, and Desolace are just a few places with lots of kodos)
