This article contains lore taken from Warcraft novels, novellas, or short stories.

Lord Karramyn Langston was the protégé of Lieutenant General Aedelas Blackmoore, master of Durnholde Keep, and served as the general's second in command — by being a simpering sycophant, always in Blackmoore's shadow. He did not always agree with his master but was too much of a coward to say anything. Once, Prince Arthas Menethil visited Durnholde and had a dinner with Aedelas and Karramyn. The prince immediately began to dislike the protégé.[2]

When Thrall escaped, Karramyn was informing Aedelas when someone saw his pet. When the liberation of the orcs started, Karramyn was appointed with leading the fifth internment camp. However, he was not able to fight and Thrall managed to capture him. When the battle was over, Thrall questioned him and sent him to Blackmoore. During the final siege against Durnholde, in his heart Karramyn wanted to stop Aedelas in arguing with Thrall and surrender but was not able to say or act. When Blackmoore died during Thrall's assault of Durnholde, Langston was automatically in charge, but because of his lack of battle experience, Sergeant took command.

After the fall of Durnholde, he was sent to the Alliance, at Thrall's behest since Langston was the new commander of the recently fallen internment camp, to say that the orcs were now free and would destroy all internment camps until all their brothers and sisters were released, and that the new Horde would be willing to start a cooperation policy with the Alliance in exchange for land and their imprisoned brethren's freedom.[3]

It is unknown what happened with him.

Memorable quotes[]

Thrall: "Why, it's worth your pathetic life, Langston. Granted, that isn't worth much..."
