Drops off high-level bird-like mobs throughout the world. Winterspring Screechers, found in the eastern extremes of Winterspring, drop up to three ironfeathers on almost every kill.

As of patch 3.1 (April 2009) Ironfeather is no longer an ingredient for leatherworking patterns and is vendor trash (grey). It used to be used in the following recipes:
