Abilities

Tactics

This fight can be a little disorienting at first. When Ichoron first comes out you will notice he has a water shield with about 35 charges on it. Attacking Ichoron will not reduce his health but will damage his shield. Once the shield goes down he will fall to the floor and become un-targetable and small water elementals will spawn around the room. They are elite mobs but only have ~4k health and go down very quickly. He will reactivate if an elemental reaches him or all elementals spawned are killed, the remaining elementals will continue to walk towards him. Each elemental that reaches him will restore a small amount of HP. When an elemental is killed it erupts, dealing ~1k frost damage to anyone nearby and knocking them back. At 25% he enrages and stops summoning adds, but hits very hard. At this point it is a DPS race.

  • Using the crystal activators around the room when Ichoron's bubble pops will kill all elementals, and if timed right can stop any from reaching him.
  • Warning: when using this strategy make sure not to stand near a large group of adds, as you could die when they erupt.
