About the Guild

Raiders of the Lost Orc is a Stonemaul/US/Horde guild. The guild name is often abbreviated "RotLO." Raiders of the Lost Orc is the oldest continuously active guild on Stonemaul (US), with a founding date of November 28th, 2004, only five days after the release of World of Warcraft. RotLO is a deliberately small guild with a focus on comraderie. Prior to Burning Crusade, RotLO completed Zul'Gurub and a few bosses in AQ20.

During The Burning Crusade, Raiders of the Lost Orc remained small but motivated. The guild completed Karazhan, Gruul's Lair, Magtheridon, Zul'Aman, Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep, and several bosses in Black Temple. A complete list of guild progression can always be found on the guild website.

Raiders of the Lost Orc has maintained this momentum into Wrath of the Lich King and has cleared Naxxramas and The Obsidian Sanctum.

The guild's official website is located at The website contains forums for recruiting and member discussion, as well as DKP status and guild announcements. Members are encouraged to check the forums often.

Raiders of the Lost Orc members include many players who have been with the guild since release, as well as many newer players. Raiders of the Lost Orc is a mature guild and maintains a strict 18+ age limit. The main thread that binds the guild together is the overriding belief that the game should be fun and should never turn into a job for its members. Many members come to RotLO from larger raiding guilds because the amount of time demanded by their hardcore raid schedules is difficult to maintain for many people. As Anubis states on the Raiders of the Lost Orc website:

"The intent is to create a team of people who can get together and have fun while raiding... keep the guild as small as possible with the ability to complete the content we desire. A standard raid schedule should only be around 3 days a week from about 7:30pm to 11:30pm server with a formup at 7pm. This is to try to prevent burnout of anyone and still maintain some sort of progression."
