Guild Charter Edit
Midnight Reveries is a heavy RP, casual to medium PvP, and medium to heavy PvE guild on The Venture Co. While TVC is a RPPVP server, it is unfortunate that it is so difficult to find a guild of this composition. We hope to set the example for how a RPPVP guild should be.
A guild is only as good as its members. For this reason, we have a very strict recruiting policy. Not just anyone will make it into our ranks. Each recruit will have a face-to-face interview with an Ambassador or one of our Lords. All applicants must demonstrate a clear understanding of the basic rules of roleplay. In addition, mature themes within our guild may prevent younger members from joining our ranks.
It is important to remember that guilds are just a basic supplement to a game we all love to play. They exist to enhance the gaming experience, not take away from it. We have seen far too many people take guilds way too seriously, ultimately causing them to enjoy the game less. This should never be the case with Midnight Reveries.
Guild Headquarters Edit
Aerie Peak now serves as the official guild headquarters of Midnight Reveries.
The Peak is the home of the Wildhammer Dwarves, a faction that broke off from the rest of Dwarven society after the War of the Three Hammers. Because of the horrific underground battles the Wildhammers were forced to fight against the Dark Iron Dwarves during the war, the Wildhammers chose to build most of their dwellings above ground, instead of burrowing into the mountain as is typical of Dwarven designs.
The Dwarves of Aerie Peak are master Gryphon riders, and their contributions to the Alliance during war cannot be overstated.
MR's departure from Stormwind perhaps came at a good time. It turns out that the Wildhammer outpost in Shadowmoon Valley requested more troops in response to increased hostilities in and around The Black Temple. Fighting on two fronts was a taxing feat, and being neutral did not help the Wildhammer cause. This is where The Midnight Reveries came in.
In exchange for quarterage, the Reveries were to assist the Wildhammer Clan in protecting The Peak and surrounding territories, while also helping to maintain the grounds. It was a simple and fairly straightforward agreement, yet one which would surely prove to have a heavy and immediate impact on the war.
