History Edit

Guild created
Original founders
Darker, Bhorak, Shadower

Anvil of Crom was founded during the first days after European launch of World of Warcraft. Starting as a small guild among the group of friends, and evolving through the first year as a fully Finnish guild. at the end of 2005, it was clear that the Finnish population of Deathwing wasn't large enough to allow full scale PvE raiding as a fully Finnish guild. When starting the PvE raid content progress, Anvil of Crom teamed up with The Claw, Mithrilguard and Guardians of Deathwing to form an raid alliance as majority of these guilds didn't have the playerbase to support raiding on their own. Later on during the first months of raiding, Guardians of Deathwing withdrew from the alliance to continue raiding as a single guild. The raiding alliance continued up to the first quarter of 2006, with slow but steady success, clearing Molten Core and two first bosses of Blackwing Lair.

The raid alliance ended during the second server migration from Deathwing. Anvil of Crom reformed as fully international guild, and started again with the 40-man raid content as a single guild.
