I'm a total noob so I still don't understand a lot of things in this game. I got some gear from instances and I equipped them straight away once it finished, and after that I joined Warsong Gulch and before it started, someone started telling me to get out and for everyone to report me because I'm ungear/have ungear (idk) and that I'd spoil the fun for everyone. So I left anyway but I have no idea what he meant.
Does that mean that my gear is rubbish? Because I've played Warsong Gulch many times before I had better gear from instances and nobody mentioned anything before.. so I'm really confused.
Also, what is the difference between blue gear items and green?
- I'm sorry if this is posted in the wrong place.. or if this sounds really stupid, I just really want to know what I did wrong :s
- Hello Daruchan, some players get annoyed when other players have lower quality gear, assuming you're queuing for level 90 instances many will have Epic quality gear, and at other levels many people have Heirloom quality gear. But don't worry about it, haters will hate, some people take things too seriously. Also, if you're looking for more answers, you may wish to try the forums on the official World of Warcraft site. By the way, if you ever read an article on this wiki, and you want to add something, then feel free, as we're always in need of more editors Thanks Tankingmage (talk) 18:56, August 5, 2013 (UTC)
- To follow up... See quality for explanations of gear colors. The name of the item will be colored based on its quality: epic (purple), rare (blue), uncommon (green). As Tankingmage says, everybody has got to start somewhere and nobody has great gear at first. Doing quests that are yellow or orange difficulty that give you gear rewards are also good to gear up. Also, do battlegrounds more and earn . You will be able to purchase PvP gear when you get enough.
- Try to make sure you have at least uncommon gear in every slot and with a level requirement as close to your level as possible.
