Ohgan'aka is the daughter of Ohgan, the pet of Bloodlord Mandokir. She is apparently necessary for Jin'do the Hexxer's plans to summon Hakkar.
While questing in Northern Stranglethorn, players come across a raptor hatching that becomes very friendly and follows the player where ever they go. The young raptor will often help with a few quests, until she is taken by the newly resurrected Bloodlord Mandokir.
Eventually, Priestess Thaalia (Alliance) or Priestess Hu'rala (Horde) offer a way to connect with the spirit of Ohgan'aka and attempt to help her escape from Zul'Gurub. During this players take control of Ohgan'aka as "Captured Lashtail Hatchling", this also allows you to speak the language used by the Lashtail raptors and get tips on escaping Zul'Gurub.
Shade of the Hexxer meets the player at the entrance to Zul'Gurub and evicts you from control of Ohgan'aka.
