Forums: Index World of Warcraft Identifing/targeting enemies in a dungeon?

I played through my first five-man dungeon this morning, and was lucky enough to get a group leader who was very good - he/she waited between mobs to be sure everyone was fully rested and buffed, gave directions to the group, and he/she put symbols over the heads of the mob leader and the alternate, indicating who we should be sure to attack.

So, my question is, how did this leader get the death's head symbol to appear over the top of the mob leader and a red arrow over the the secondary? What is that called? —This unsigned comment is by AeldSidhe (talkcontribs) 15:00, August 18, 2013‎ . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!

The symbols that can be put above the heads of mobs are called Target markers. Every instance group should use them. --Gengar orange 22x22Beware the sneaky smile! Fandyllic (talk · contr) 18 Aug 2013 3:08 PM Pacific
