=== History ===

:"''I have watched the snows of Northrend for thousands of years, and when I close my eyes it all rushes past me as if it were nothing more than a second.''"

As with most azure dragonkin, Wrathegosa was hatched in a clutch within the boundries of Coldarra. She has no real record of the two dragons that gave life to her, something that she feels a tad sore about with the knowledge of the close relationship between parents and children with mortals. Life was particularly simple up until the events that spawned the War of the Ancients and the massacre of her kin that followed at the hands of Deathwing. During the fighting, Wrathegosa was caught between a far stronger Black and no way to escape.
  +
<br><br>
  +
Gore followed as the Blue's eyes were gouged right out of their sockets. Death would have surely followed were it not for the timely intervention of an elder sapphire wyrm. She remained blind for a while, until a link could be established that used her magic to create fake eyesight for herself. The injury caused more emotional pain to Wrathegosa than it did physical, brewing an extreme lust for vengeance for what happened to her flight. With death planted firmly in her mind, she scoured the world looking for Black dragons to slaughter. Among those she slaughtered was a male dragon, an unborn clutch, and left his mate-- a dragon by the name of Kuraira, for dead after gouging out ''her'' eyes.
  +
<br><br>
  +
Sometime after this, the exact number of years is uncertain, Wrathegosa came across a stray blue whelp in Northrend who had become prey to some of the larger predators of the frozen wastes. She saved the young whelp, named Corigosa, and raised her personally. While she raised Cori, Wrathegosa's heart of hate melted. She cast her vendetta to the side, but not her loathing for those who had caused her harm, and swore to focus efforts on the more positive. More specifically, research to sate the natural curiosity for infinite knowledge.
  +
<br><br>
  +
This goal brought her into mortal lands, disguised proper to not attract attention, where she wanted to do something most dragons avoid -- getting involved in mortal affairs. Taking the form of a kaldorei, perhaps not the smartest move she had ever made, her searches brought her far and wide across Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms. Eventually she landed in a small town nestled in the forests of Elwynn, Goldshire, and within the quaint Lion's Pride Inn. How little did Wrathegosa realize that stepping into that building would completely change the person she was to become.
  +
<br><br>
  +
It did not take long for Wrathegosa to realize that Goldshire was a strange town, and it's people even stranger. She settled to remain there for a couple of months to examine the mortals there... only to find herself soon wrapped up within their business. Especially that of a young, diminutive woman by the name of Lerissa Stormwood and a few of the human's companions. It would be impossible to list everything that had happened, but to summarize, a lot of adventures caused Wrathegosa to forsake the idea of returning home to Northrend, and instead decided to remain with what she considered a family.
  +
<br><br>
  +
... but not everything can go as planned. The advent of the Nexus War spelled doom for wayward Wrathegosa, or as she was mostly referred to now, Wrath. Her closest companions being magic users, she did not see the logic in her former sire's judgment, and turned her claws and blades upon her former kin. All did not turn out well, the rogue Blue was eventually captured and driven insane with the use of runes and compulsive magic. Broken, Wrathegosa was let loose upon her friends and sowed a great deal of destruction and pain among them before a final showdown at the Nexus sealed her fate. Lerissa's death knight husband, Haden Daybreaker, put their sapphire friend's soul to rest.
  +
<br><br>
  +
And that was the end... or was it?
  +

It was half a year later that a cloaked figure arrived at the doorstep of a group who's time of mourning had long since passed, and revealed themselves to be the dead blue. A tale was weaved of rebirth at the hands of the Dragonqueen, who bestowed upon Wrathegosa a second chance. Since that moment, even more events have transpired by way of adventures and milestones, through all of it, Wrath's devotion to the Red Dragonflight has not wavered, nor has her loathing for her once kin.
  +
<br><br>
  +
Among the important events that have happened to Wrathegosa were the murder of Corigosa, her marriage to the demon hunter Zio Flamestrider, the birth of her halfling son Kai'ren, and the saving of Evandragos -- an event reminiscent of Wrath's retrieval of Cori, so many thousands of years ago. Adventures have taken place, reunions made, friendships forged, and enemies have been sought out. All of them have shaped the blue dragon into what she is today, including some of the more recent events.

<br><br>
  +
At one point, Wrathegosa was captured by a trained dragon hunter and left within the deserted spires of Blackrock, at the mercy of a nefarious character by the name of Senal. Forced, on threat of the death of Lerissa's young daughter, Ella, to become the broodmother for his experimental flight, the Shimmering. She was freed weeks of torment later, and the experience haunts her like a waking nightmare. Despite the promise she made to herself to never return to the Mountain, she had to break the oath, as six keys and dire circumstances would not allow her reprieve.
  +
<br><br>
  +
A door lay hidden in the depths of Blackrock Mountain, undisturbed for ages, was recently opened after carnage ensued against an army of black and twilight dragons. At the head of said army was Kuraira, who had managed to survive Wrathegosa's torture and was starving for revenge. After her death, and the death of the Black's compatriots, the door was opened and an artifact of indescribable power was revealed. Wrathegosa, knowing that it must be destroyed, but battling with her own feelings, betrayed orders and took the artifact for herself. She openly attacked her friends, but the power was destroyed and she was defeated.
  +
<br><br>
  +
Taken to Wyrmrest for healing, she was later reported to have been found missing. Two weeks of searching led Lerissa and Haden to a small section of Coldarra where Wrath had been hiding and feasting upon mounds of stray energy to combat the power addiction she had received from touching such enormous power that was contained in the artifact. The two humans convinced the blue dragon to come home, but she remains hesitant and fearful of what the rest of her friends will think of her after her betrayal and how she'll be able to cope with her addiction without a vast supply of readily available energy.

Wrathegosa, in her mortal disguise, stands at seven feet, five inches tall. She is lanky and lithe, but time spent disguised as a rogue and formal training has given her some ropey muscles. When first met in the past, she used to have a very formal air about her that melted with first greetings. Now, however, she's usually seen sulking in the shadows and trying to avoid contact with other people.
  +
<br><br>
  +
The shift in personality hasn't done much to change how she looks. Cyan hair frames a face that has some sharp angles to it, but has soft lines around the cheeks. Her eyes are mana motes and cast an odd, shifting blue light across her already light azure skin. If that weren't enough, an inked blue line crosses from the top of her forehead down to the base of her jaw over each eye. She can either be seen in a variety of black or beryl dresses or leather armor. As of late, with a lack of mana potions or other energy substitutes, Wrath's skin goes pale white and seems to have a coarse look to it, and her face becomes creased with age.

:"''I believe this is one of those moments when diplomacy is not going to work.''"

  +
Due to her heritage as a blue dragon, Wrathegosa has a heavy affinity for magic, specifically of the arcane and frost kind. Her spells are potent and she often uses some stranger spells in her arsenal, among which are shockwaves of arcane, tombs of ice, and she has a fancy for summoning arcane elementals into battles. She uses these abilities in both her dragon and mortal forms, her night elf disguise can use controlled bolts of power while her dragon form can unleash devastating, magic-laced breaths.
  +
<br><br>
  +
During her time heavily disguised among the mortals, she took up the practice of a rogue to avoid having attention drawn to her vast arcane reserves. She was never very good at sneaking about, she learned a thing or two about how to swing swords and daggers to make someone die. Recent training with her friends has made her a devastating weapon swinging, spell slinging monster in combat if she gets worked up enough. In her dragon form, her claws and teeth are sharp and provide enough physical backup for her when she fights.
  +
<br><br>
  +
[[Image:Wrathegosa_paint.gif|thumb|Drawn head-shot.]]In mortal form, her equipment is leather armor of protection and usually two weapons. Recently she received two obsidian axes with a set of armor made from a Scourge geist, but normally she is found with Romathis and Soran'xelar, two draconic relics. The Lifesong and the Azure Judge, respectively, were given to Wrathegosa by the Wyrmrest Accord. Romathis is a lifeblade from the vaults of the Red Dragonflight, its flames sear and heal and is mainly a combative weapon. Soran'xelar is different, it has a sharp edge but a rounded tip, making it less desirable for combat. However, as a Blue relic it serves as a catalyst to power up Wrath's spells in combat.
  +
<br>
  +
Despite all these abilities, Wrathegosa is known to be easily crippled by mana burn. Said spell has been known to leave her in a comatose state for at least week unless a supplement is given to raise her mana levels back up.

Kalecgos Dragon Form

Wrath's dragon form, more or less.

In her dragon form, Wrathegosa is extremely large. Her size is obviously less than the Aspects but is larger than the average full-grown dragon. Her scales are a dark sapphire color and the membrane of her wings is a lighter shade of blue than that. Her talons and the spiked ball at the end of her tail take on a crystalline appearance, along with the spikes that run along her head and down her neck and back. Drawn head-shot.

In mortal form, her equipment is leather armor of protection and usually two weapons.
