Earthmender Norsala is a jungle troll shaman that is first encountered in the Valley of Strength in Orgrimmar, in the events leading up to the Cataclysm. She is a member of the Earthen Ring. She is later found in Deepholm where she enlists the aid of the player in a variety of different quests which help with the recovery of the World Pillar. After the World Pillar is recovered all shamans are told to leave, however she returns here to fight against Glop in N [30-35 Daily] Glop, Son of Glop.

Norsala also helps defend Sethria's Roost on Mount Hyjal against the minions of Ragnaros during the quest N [35 Daily] The Protectors of Hyjal.

  • Spell nature healingwavegreater Chain Heal — Infuses a wounded ally with healing energy that spreads to another nearby ally. The spell affects up to 3 targets, but the healing energy is diminished by 50% for each successive target.
  • Spell nature chainlightning Chain Lightning — Strikes an enemy with a lightning bolt that arcs to another nearby enemy. The spell affects up to 3 targets, inflicting less Nature damage to each successive target.
  • Spell shaman lavaburst Lava Burst — You hurl molten lava at the target, dealing Fire damage.
  • Spell nature lightning Lightning Bolt — Blasts an enemy with lightning, inflicting Nature damage.
  • Spell nature lightningoverload Thunderstorm — Call down a bolt of lightning damaging nearby enemies within 15 yards. Deals 100 Nature damage to all nearby enemies, knocking them back.
  • Ability shaman watershield Water Shield — The caster is surrounded by 3 globes of water, granting 10 mana per 5 sec. When a spell, melee or ranged attack hits the caster, 40 mana is restored to the caster. This expends one water globe. Only one globe will activate every few seconds. Lasts 10 min. Only one Elemental Shield can be active on the Shaman at any one time.
Mount Hyjal
  • Spell nature skinofearth Earth Shield — Protects the target with an earthen shield, causing melee attacks to heal the shielded target. This effect can only occur once every few seconds. 10 charges. Lasts 10 min.
  • Spell frost frostshock Frost Shock — Inflicts Frost damage to an enemy and reduces its movement speed for 6 sec.

  • On Mount Hyjal, her mounts are a kodo and a wyvern.
  • Norsala is one of the few Earthen Ring shaman introduced during Cataclysm to not die during the Hour of Twilight.
  • This NPC was "solid" and could not be walked through, while she was in Orgrimmar.
  • Norsala is voiced by Cesili Williams.[1]
  • During early development of the Elemental Unrest event, the ID used by Earthmender Norsala was used by the female tauren Seer Bahura.
