The cats have attracted [[Hemet Nesingwary]] to the Basin due to the fact that while he's tested his skill against many large cats before, the dreadsabers are different. Their incredible strength and ferocity surpasses that of even the [[Winterspring]] [[frostsaber]]s and allows them to bring down larger prey than Hemet or any other member of his camp has ever seen a cat hunt.
