Mordanna (literally 'Darkfallen' in J. R. R. Tolkien's Sindarin) is the main character of upcoming series of short stories, named 'The Bleeding Tales'. Created (speaking about the character concept) as a deconstruction of people's tendency to think of the Ebon Knights as generally nice folk, Mordanna is completely ruthless, immoral and cynical, willing to inflict torment upon his enemies and knowing how to do it all too well - while still serving the Ebon Blade and fighting against those considered enemies of all sapient races.
