Shamans who practice channeling raw elemental power directly find that the granted energies flow through their bodies with greater and greater ease.
Function
Convection is a talent in the Elemental tree of Shamans. It is a low level talent that is open to investment to all Shamans. It accepts a maximum of 5 points.
Convection gives a 2% discount on Shock and Lightning spells for each point invested in it (2% / 4% / 6% / 8% / 10%). It affects 5 different spells, all of them in the Elemental-talent category: 
[Flame Shock], 
[Earth Shock], 
[Frost Shock], 
[Lightning Bolt] and 
[Chain Lightning]. It is most worthy of consideration for Shamans who use these damaging spells often, and compared to 
[Concussion] would be preferred if the Shaman is concerned about running out of mana during battle. It is strongest to a Shaman investing further in the Elemental tree, and Shamans who are devoted to destruction might consider getting both Convection and [Concussion].
