The seventh admin poured out his content into the Internet, and out of Curse came a loud voice from the Wowpedians, saying, "It is done!"
- - Joshmaul's Revelations 16:17
My name is Joshua Underwood (alias Joshmaul, born June 5, 1987). I live in Lowell, Massachusetts (formerly Poway, California), and I've been playing World of Warcraft since September 6, 2005, and I love when people try to harass me by making articles that insult me, and mess with my user pages making fun of my weight, the fact I have no life, so on. It proves my intellectual superiority over such individuals, and their jealousy at my godliness. Kneel before Joshmaul, mortals. *grin*
Anywho. My primary characters (all on Medivh US) are:
- Ketiron (formerly Saavedro) - Level 80 Blood Elf (formerly Human) Paladin
- Joshmaul - Level 80 Orc Warlock
- Devaneaux (formerly Artimus) - Level 80 Human Death Knight
- Jaedenlaek - Level 80 Draenei Shaman
- Metheius - Level 79 Undead Death Knight
- Sekhesmet - Level 71 Undead Priest
Coming soon are:
- Vendross - Night Elf Mage (Coming Patch 4.0.3)
- Zherron - Worgen Druid (Coming in Cataclysm)
- Kitrik - Goblin Rogue (Coming in Cataclysm)
Lately, I'm known among my immediate family as being something of an expert on lore...and a bit of a corruptor, I will admit. *grin* First, I got my stepfather and my brother into the game, and got my mother reading Warcraft books and asking me questions about characters and events. Which, if I don't know them right off the top of my head, I will come here to WoWWiki to look up. (Love you all.)
I beta-tested both Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King. I won a BC beta key from Stratics on November 17, 2006, and on August 28, 2008, my stepfather gave me the key he had won for WotLK. No luck in Cataclysm, but I'll make up for that...somehow...
Origin of Some of the Character Names
- Joshmaul: My nickname
- Saavedro: Antagonist of Myst III: Exile, portrayed by character actor Brad Dourif
- Ordevaas: Saavedro spelled backwards
- Sekhesmet: Something Egyptian-sounding...I thought this was the name of a Tomb Kings special character from Warhammer Fantasy Battles, but it turns out that guy's name was "Sehenesmet". Well, you can give me credit for trying.
- Jaeden'laek: Kil'jaeden was part of the root for this name; this was a character I created for a Star Trek race called the Gorak'nar, represented by draenei. Jaeden'laek in that medium was an "Elder" (Broken) and has undergone various transformations - good guy, bad guy, so on.
- Decibelius: A play on the word "decibel". I was Chief of Sound Control for the California Sports Car Club region of SCCA from 2003 to 2008.
- Areinnye: A Romulan female name that means "hell".
- Arrhae: Another Romulan female name with no specific meaning, but referring to a woman of great power.
- Artimus: Artimus Devaneaux, one of my most notorious villains in multiple mediums - Star Trek, Star Wars, Warhammer 40,000. Now he makes his Warcraft universe appearance.
- Settra: A Tomb Kings special character from Warhammer Fantasy Battles. And yes, I checked.
- Koschei: In addition to being from Russian mythology, Koschei was - according to Doctor Who novels - the real name of the Time Lord known as the Master.
- Velenkayn: Named for the Prophet Velen. Another Gorak'nar - this time a Warrior (uncorrupted draenei).
- Caedus: Darth Caedus, the Sith Lord name of Jacen Solo.
- Euphrati: Euphrati Keeler, a character from the Warhammer 40,000 Horus Heresy novel series.
- Metheius: Both of the names I used are enemies of Ciaphas Cain, the reluctant hero commissar of Warhammer 40,000 - Varan the Undefeatable, a Chaos Lord, and Metheius, a renegade tech-priest serving an insane inquisitor.
- Tantalid: Another 40k reference, right down to his job description and his fanatical piety - Arnaut Tantalid was a witch hunter who killed renegade psykers and other enemies of the Imperial Cult, and tangled with Inquisitor Eisenhorn on several occasions.
- Zherron: I think I found this one in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II. He was the commander of the Khoonda militia on Dantooine, if I remember correctly. (It's been a LONG time.)
- Vendross: From Anne McCaffrey's Pern series - in the novel The Masterharper of Pern, Vendross was the guard captain of Telgar Hold during the reign of the tyrant Fax.
Personal Victories

- Information about the crews of the ships and zeppelins being added in Patch 2.3.
- Pics of NPCs from Mudsprocket.
- More reams of information pertaining to Wrath of the Lich King, including the Scarlet Enclave, the Ebon Hold, finally putting in the subzones for Naxxramas, and corrections to a few quests.

Head Count
These are all the important heads/parts I've taken from instance bosses, major quest givers, so on:
