A Colossus in Hellfire Peninsula
Colossi are giant lumbering creatures which appeared on Hellfire Peninsula in Outland after a red crystal fell to the surface from the sky. They are said to be "mountain giants". They seem to be elemental in nature - their flesh is dark and stony, and giant red crystals stud their shoulders, back and skull. If they are killed, they can be mined after they're been looted. They are not natural to Outland and the red crystal that summons them and drives them mad was created by Kael'Thas.
