It increases the critical strike chance of the next [[Sinister Strike]], [[Backstab]], [[Ambush]], or [[Eviscerate]] by 100%; the next hit is guaranteed to be a critical strike. However, it is still possible for the cold blood attack to be dodged, parried, blocked, or a miss, due to the [[Attack table|table-based attack resolution system]] that WoW uses; somewhat unlikely but if this happens the cold blood effect will be expended with no effect. This ability is a must have for rogues. It is also better for rogues that have cold blood to use a slower weapon, therefor doing more damage.
