Crest of the Alliance

The Alliance was orignally created at the behest of King Terenas of Lordaeron.
The Human, Dwarf, Gnome and High Elven races allied together to fight off the Orcish horde (Warcraft and Warcraft 2).
During the Third War the various races banded together to fight the Burning Legion under the flag of the Lordaeron Alliance (Warcraft 3).
Though the Night Elves where never formally a part of the Alliance of Lordaeron, they are considered so by most members.
In the aftermath of the Third War, old hatreds have started to resurface, and the tenuous pact between the Alliance and the Horde has all but evapporated.
Capital Cities
- Darnassus - Home to the Night Elves.
- Iron Forge - Home to the Dwarves and Gnomes.
- Stormwind - Home to the Humans.
Fourth city and new race comes out with the expansion pack, Burning Crusades.
