Stonetalon Pass is a small quest area where Horde players battle the Grimtotem in Mulgore. The path is located to the northwest of Thunder Bluff in Mulgore. Although intrepid explorers can make it to Stonetalon Mountains if they head northeast (almost due east) from the top of the path, the area above is primarily part of the High Road, used by Horde players to travel between Stonetalon and the Southern Barrens while skirting the Alliance forces at Honor's Stand.
Speculation
This article or section includes speculation, observations or opinions possibly supported by lore or by Blizzard officials. It should not be taken as representing official lore.

The Grimtotem have appeared to build up a small settlement here, it's possible this is where they traveled to when exiled from Thunder Bluff.
Notes
At the summit one can find a large number of critters, which occasionally grow in size and don weapons. Prairie Dogs wear an acorn helmet and wield a dagger, rabbits hold a one-handed axe in their mouths, and mice wear a skull helmet and wield two shotguns. The purpose of these critters (if any) is currently unknown.
