A long ranged weapon that uses muscle power to fire (Strength has no effect on your damage). Bows are capable of using different types of arrows which will affect the bow's damage output. Some quivers used to carry the arrows also can increase the rate of fire.

Unlike Guns, players cannot create bows. They must be bought, looted or earned from quests.

You can learn the Bow skill for 10 from Ilynia in Darnassus (Alliance) or from Hanashi in Orgrimmar (Horde). Night Elf, Troll and Orc Hunters start with the Bow skill.

Quiver

You can store arrows in quivers or in the inventory. However, if you keep them in the quiver, the amount sums up from the same type, so you do not have to care about reloading, when one arrow pack (200 arrows) depletes. One quiver takes up one bag slot.
