Barely a stance at all in the traditional sense and more a dance, the Warrior moves forward and up on his feet, balanced and poised to fall on the enemy's slightest mis-step like a thunderbolt. This forward 'in your face' stance makes it difficult to recover from enemy feints, which can cause the Warrior to take more damage than usual from ordinarily weak hits. This stance works best with either two very fast weapons, or one very big one.

Abilities usable only in Berserker Stance: Ability warrior victoryrush [Intercept], Spell nature ancestralguardian [Berserker Rage], Ability whirlwind [Whirlwind], Inv gauntlets 04 [Pummel], and Warrior talent icon innerrage [Recklessness]. Berserker Stance shares some abilities with Ability warrior offensivestance [Battle Stance], but on the whole, is less focused on abilities, and more on simply doing as much straight damage as possible.

This stance is mostly a soloing one, although has some use in Main Assist positions, provided the Main Tank is competent enough to be able to regain aggro from a lucky run of berserk critical hits. If they are not, it might be prudent to stay with Ability warrior offensivestance [Battle Stance].

Over the long run, the Berseker Stance is marginally more successful and time efficient for solo xp work than Ability warrior offensivestance [Battle Stance], with quicker fights, but longer rest required between fights, so in the end, it's a matter of personal preference. For farming low-level (Grey or Green) enemies; to complete old quests or harvest loot, Berserker Stance helps speed the process up enormously.

Useful in PvP, especially for the Fear protection that Spell nature ancestralguardian [Berserker Rage] provides. Most non-melee enemies will try to avoid a direct brawl with the Warrior, and use any type of fear available, so clever timing with this ability can turn the tables completely. Inv gauntlets 04 [Pummel] is also an invaluable PvP tool. A good tactic is to start in Ability warrior offensivestance [Battle Stance], use Ability warrior charge [Charge], then swap to Berserker Stance for the rest of the fight.

To get the most out of the Critical Bonus, consider Spell nature focusedmind [Cruelty] and Inv axe 02 [Axe Specialization] Talents as part of an accompanying Talent Build. The bonuses work best either with lots of very fast hits, or very large ones, so use Dual Wielded fast swords or daggers, or a very large Two Handed weapon, and use Ability warrior decisivestrike [Slam] to counter the slow timer.

To acquire the berserker stance, a quest must be completed on an island south of Ratchet any level 30 or after. For Horde characters, the quest can be obtained from a warrior trainer in any major city. Not all warrior trainers offer the quest, but atleast one in each major city does.
