Beastmaster1 — A Night Elf Hunter in his Beastmaster Armor.

This is the Tier 0.5 Hunter Set, obtained by upgrading the Tier 0 set (Beaststalker Armor) through a series of quests. All of the items are therefore BOP, are recieved by a quest and not a drop, and have a minimum level of 58 to equip.

Bonuses gained from wearing multiple set items:

2: +8 All Resistances.
4: Your normal ranged attacks have a 4% chance of restoring 200 mana.
6: Increases attack power by 40
8: +200 Armor.

Notes

The Beastmaster set is a clear improvement over its predecessor. It focuses primarily on Agility, Stamina and Intellect which make up the hunter's core attributes. In addition, this set offers special bonuses to the hunter's pet, making it ideal for hunters with the Beast Mastery build (the additional 2% pet critical strike chance on the gloves is particularly useful in combination with the Frenzy beast mastery talent). It can also provide a Raiding Spec hunter who cannot invest points in Beast Mastery with a stronger pet for PvP and PvE.
