:Then who will finish his quest?-- 00:55, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
The Battle of Angrathar the Wrath Gate is a battle between the united forces of both the Alliance and the Horde against the undead Scourge. Highlord Bolvar Fordragon and Saurfang the Younger challenged the Lich King at the very entrance of Icecrown Citadel, Angrathar the Wrath Gate. However, the Forsaken, led by Grand Apothecary Putress, attacked from the cliffs above the Gate with catapults loaded with their New Plague, killing most of the Alliance-Horde forces and driving the Lich King into his fortress. Saurfang the Younger died at the hands of the Lich King before the New Plague was unleashed.

Somehow a very "weak" succesor for the Kirin Tor, isn't he? : Follow up: he's simply vanished off the face of the earth with no explanation, despite solid mentions in lore, and none of the new quests mention him. No sign of him in Dalaran either, and WoWHead says "location unknown", meaning he's simply been removed. A post-Cata ticket simply got the response that he's still around the ruins, which he isn't. Archmage Cedric, on the other hand, is still there in BC-era mode. Another case of game mechanics over-riding the lore.
