I decided to use this datacenter as it is closest to my location, which is Kansas City, Missouri, USA, simply because I can, and perhaps the latency will be better, overall. Also, it makes me happy to play with people in my geolocale, though I enjoy playing with others, too. The reality is we live in a tense little world and need our neighbors more than ever. It just feels right :)

Anub'shiah is a [[Crypt Fiend]] that sometimes appears in Blackrock Depths. When a player enters the Ring of Law in the Depths, an arena event will occur where players have to face three waves of non-elite enemies and finally a elite mini-boss. Anub'shiah is one of six possible mini-bosses that could appear. The other ones are [[Grizzle]], [[Eviscerator]], [[Gorosh the Dervish]], [[Hedrum the Creeper]], and [[Ok'thor the Breaker]].

*These are sorted alphabetically, though I did use the WarcraftRealms CensusPlusMod and their data in making my decisions. Specifically, does that site report a high population, which indicates people are at least interested in reporting their population levels, and do they have a strong economy, as shown by the numbers of auction house entries, reported by auctioneer.

Anub'shiah is a fairly standard fight that doesn't require any special tactics. Anub'shiah is a favorite of warriors due to the Carapace plate drop.

I'm thinking, low population servers are to be avoided. It may be fun to take part in census gathering for non-reporting servers, but if they don't report, they must not really want to exist? I suppose a server will get merged with another if it gets too low. I did notice that there does seem to be a significant population on the servers with low reporting, where it may show 0 or few numbers. The more significant statistic, to me, is the numbers of auctions on the auction house. This requires actual scanning of ah's with auctioneer, to show the total number of auctions, though i think auctionator does it also.

. Bottom line, I want to play with people who are interested in reporting data via censusplus. I think it means they are more active in general, and more intersted in having fun, working together, etc. They are more savvy.

My Servers

Chicago Datacenter

I decided to use this datacenter as it is closest to my location, which is Kansas City, Missouri, USA, simply because I can, and perhaps the latency will be better, overall. Also, it makes me happy to play with people in my geolocale, though I enjoy playing with others, too. The reality is we live in a tense little world and need our neighbors more than ever. It just feels right :)

  • These are sorted alphabetically, though I did use the WarcraftRealms CensusPlusMod and their data in making my decisions. Specifically, does that site report a high population, which indicates people are at least interested in reporting their population levels, and do they have a strong economy, as shown by the numbers of auction house entries, reported by auctioneer.

turns out the time zone don't matter, as all datacenters have multiple time zones

Why choose a Server reported as low population by warcraftrealms?

Reporting on delinquent servers, those with no or little reporting via censusplus

Draka, Thorium Brotherhood, Silvermoon

These are the worst offenders, the least reporting. It was a small act of charity to spend a few minutes collecting data. Odd, that I got quite a bit of traffic. I wonder why they have so little data collected. Perhaps they are 'flakey'? That's a new word being thrown around these days. Let's just say, more casual?
