Alamar Grimm is a level 5 warlock trainer located in Anvilmar, in the dwarven starting zone of Dun Morogh. Alamar frowns upon the practices of other adventurers, blaming them for the fall of Gnomeregan. He feels that the Dwarves - even though they are sheltering the Gnomes - care not for the recliamation of Gnomeregan and would rather "ally with Humans".

Alamar is the gnome to go to with the Tainted Memorandum that Sten Stoutarm gave you if you are a Warlock. He lets warlocks know that they have a friend in him and will teach them the low-level skills that he knows. In order to teach these warlocks the ability to summon an Imp, he first seeks proof that they have "the necessary magical and physical ability." He requires the Feather Charms that Frostmane Novices carry so that he can study the unique magical powers that they seem to have. After proving themselves, Grimm has been known to teach these youngsters Summon Imp.

He starts the quest Alliance 15 Ui-charactercreate-classes warlock [4] Beginnings in which he tasks young warlocks to travel to the lands of the Frostmane Trolls in the southwest corner of the Coldridge Valley and slay Frostmane Novices for 3 Feather Charms.

His name may be a reference to the warlock hero Alamar in the Heroes of Might and Magic turn-based strategy series.
