Ahab was created by Tigole at the behest of 10-year-old Ezra Chatterton (alias Ephoenix), who toured Blizzard's offices with the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Despite his apparent advanced age, the voice of Ahab is actually that of Ezra himself. Ahab is flagged as a beast and not a humanoid however this might be a bug, one interesting thing is that Ahab is unkillable for both horde and alliance, you cannot even target spells on him.
