On US servers, Wolpertinger's Tankard is a quest reward from Catch the Wild Wolpertinger!, part of the Brewfest seasonal event.

On European servers, the quest is not available and Wolpertinger's Tankard can be purchased from Token Redeemers and Brew of the Month Club vendors. It is available for purchase only during Brewfest.

Notes

Living up to its description, this non-combat pet is invisible to other sober players albeit subject to emotes from the owner. However, whether it be a glitch or intended design, other players in your group or raid are able to see this pet at all times.

Pets reveal your stealthed location, but since the Wolpertinger is normally invisible to other players not in your party, this makes the Wolpertinger uniquely useful for PvP; only your party will see where you are (unless an opponent happens to be drunk).

During Brewfest 2008, the quest was broken, so Wolpertinger's Tankard was available for purchase from Token Redeemer vendors. The problem was fixed on US servers for Brewfest 2009.
