A WoWWiki guideline refers to the etiquette and common practice observed involving the creation, editing, and management of articles on WoWWiki to make management and presentation more consistent and streamlined. Guidelines are not generally enforced by other users or admins, unlike policies.

−
Guidelines include ways of organizing information and creating and using shared resources such as categories and templates. Many articles in the WoWWiki category are guidelines.

Given his proximity to Lieutenant Karter, Lieutenant Jackspring, and Sergeant Major Clate along with his physical appearance, he is almost certainly a reference to Jack O'Neill. Jack O'Neill was the long-time main character of the popular Sci-Fi series Stargate SG-1, in which O'Neill worked with Samantha Carter (Karter), Daniel Jackson (Jackspring), and Teal'c (Clate being an anagram of Teal'c) to defend the Earth. === Creating templates ===

−
If you want people to know about templates you created, you can list and describe them on WoWWiki:Templates. Please try use a format similar to how other templates are listed and described. Also remember to categorize them in one of the template categories!

Deleting redirects
−
Some s should be deleted (marked delete or speedydelete) based on violating other policies besides what are specifically mentioned in the Deletion policy or the Speedy deletion policy.

 +
See List of Stormwind NPCs.
−
Here are some straightforward examples of redirects that should be marked for deletion:

−
* A redirect to a guild — Guild names in the main namespace are not allowed as per WW:GUILD#Naming.

−
* A redirect to a player character — Player character names in the main namespace are not allowed as per WW:PC#Naming.

−
* A redirect to a server subpage — Server subpages (like guild progression or lists of crafters) in the main namespace are not allowed. There is no specific policy related to this, but it is consistent with WW:GUILD#Naming (servers like guilds have their own namespace) and WW:PC#Naming (subpages). Redirects to server pages are generally okay.

Sells:

There has been some controversy on whether being Undead is considered an aspect of race or just a status for the purposes of Npcbox. Blizzard basically settled this by listing Sylvanas Windrunner's race as "unique undead" in an official bio released for the Icecrown Citadel patch.

Title <Jewelcrafting Quartermaster>
Race Human (Humanoid)
Level 65
Location Stormwind

Captain O'Neal is a level 65 PvP Jewelcrafting designs vendor located in the Champions' Hall in the human city of Stormwind.

Also nearby is Guard Hammon, this could possibly be a reference to General Hammond, also in Stargate.

Prior to release of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Captain O'Neal was given the title of <Weapons Quartermaster>
