Solar Beam is a new talented ability for Balance druids in Cataclysm. It will work similar to Freya's Sunbeam spell, instantly silencing the target until they move out of the effect radius.[1]

Patch changes

  • Cataclysm Patch 4.1.0 (2011-04-26):
    • Is no longer on the global cooldown to make it more consistent with other abilities.
    • Is now more responsive when enemies move into or out of it.
  • Cataclysm Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Added.
