Vanquisher is a title awarded to participants who placed in the top 1000 overall teams at the end of the 2009 Arena Tournament. This is a permanent title as opposed to seasonal arena titles (Gladiator, Duelist, Rival, Challenger).
Different from normal arenas which are held by individual battlegroups, the tournament is a contest between all battlegroups within the entire US (or EU, respectively) WoW population.
