Reverting Edits
I've noticed that people (including myself) revert edits and add comments that don't show what edits were made.
Kirkburn does some brilliant comments such as
Reverted edits made by Karamazov (talk); to last edit by Lindorm - 2 Items added are World Drops, not Karazhan
That way we inform people of which article versions we're going back to and why :)
Only messaging you because we were reverting the same article at the same time ^^ --User:Kiltek/Sig 06:54, 28 March 2007 (EDT)
First Alliance to ride a nether drake into Shattrath City.
Screen shot plx! =O User:Kiltek/Sig 05:54, 14 April 2007 (EDT)
- Sure thing, i'll put it in my user profile.
∙ Zurr Talk ∙ Contr 12:16, 14 April 2007 (EDT)- Nice, now im going to give you a personal mission. Create/Update the Netherdrake Questline.. ;) User:Kiltek/Sig 12:44, 14 April 2007 (EDT)
- Nether drake questline is really just talking to Mordenai again and he sends you to netherwing ledge where you need to do a bunch of quests for the Dragonmaw and some goblins.
∙ Zurr Talk ∙ Contr 14:30, 14 April 2007 (EDT)- Then go go lazy warlock! Createth a page so I may get one with ease! User:Kiltek/Sig

When making item articles
Please use {{#ifeq:{{PAGENAME}}|<article name>|right|left}}
for the float. It serves the same purpose as {{If|{{Equals|{{PAGENAME}}|<article name>}}|then=right|else=left}}
, except it's easier and more efficient for the wiki. Thanks! --Sky (t · c · w) 08:28, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
- I've just been copy/pasting from another page, and trying to make necessary adjustments for the page to fit the item. In fact, why not just use "right"?
∙ Zurr Talk ∙ Contr 08:31, 22 May 2007 (UTC)- We used to. Tekkub (talk · contr) changed it, and I wasn't exactly perturbed against the idea, even if I didn't understand why. :) --Sky (t · c · w) 08:42, 22 May 2007 (UTC)
noinclude / onlyinclude
Could you be so kind to use noinclude, instead of onlyinclude. the second type does not appear to work correctly. i've reverted the darkmoon card wrath, and voidheart as they were messing up page layouts elsewhere,, but you might want to look back trough your other edits. Netherspite Infernal
Where have Blizzard written that the demons in the Prince-fight are named "Netherspite Infernals"? It makes no sense, since they look exactly the same as the Abyssals in Blade's Edge Mountains for instance. Infernals are green. --Odolwa 19:50, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
- [Sense Demons] and [Track Demons] Zurr T ∙ C 22:44, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
I see. Will be sure to try it next time I'm there. Very mystical indeed. --Odolwa 21:37, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

"You are an idiot" etc
You suck. :P --Sky (t · c · w) 09:27, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
Where then?
Would you prefer the names in Voidwalker (Warlock pet)? Cuz either way, I personally think that they really should be included. -- Grihm Bloodtusk 00:26, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
- They're combinations of prefixes and suffixes afaik, there are no "set" names. User:Kirkburn/Sig3 00:46, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
Re: noinclude tags
I had accidently removed the noinclude tags from those pages in question, causing the in-line display of the items on the respective tier-4 set pages to be seriously out of whack, so it was very necessary to re-add them. :)
It's all fixed now. I'll just have to be more careful to not overwrite those tags next time. Oops. :)

NPOV discussion
Indeed, you are most definitel correct. The warning needed to be added to the NPOV policy page, because the distinction is one that is made by the administrative staff and book keepers, and enforced by the administration. Since the policy is enforced its only fair that its mentioned somewhere, where it can be read. Perhaps my addition needs to be cleaned up grammatically, but it definitely needs to be there to be fair to anyone that might break the inernal policy.Baggins 04:31, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Thanks
Oh thanks then, I was trying to find it but didn't find it so I posted it myself, once again thanks! :D -- User:Oscararon 14:48, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
Zul'Aman Progression
Please don't delete articles just because they're not completed. Feel free to mark them as a work in progress, or aid in their completion, but don't unnecessarily destroy someone else's legitimate work. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Vectivus (talk · contr).
Foxboxing
I've seen some pages flagged for Foxbot that have lain fallow for a month or more. Is Foxbot run globally and automatically every so often or does someone have to go around directing it? --Eirik Ratcatcher 00:42, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
Thanks >.<
Well... thank you for fixing all that, I was going to but I thought I could fix one page at a time, but now it is fixed so... THANK YOU! =D --The Lich King- <imagelink>PetitionGossipIcon.png|User talk:Oscararon|Talk</imagelink>- <imagelink>VendorGossipIcon.png|Special/Contributions:Oscararon|Contribs</imagelink>-<imagelink>BattleMasterGossipIcon.png|User:Oscararon/Gereon Lightsword|Lord Lightsword</imagelink> 10:45, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
Using {{item}} in {{settip}}
Please don't use {{item}} in {{settip}} or {{tooltip}} (as you did here), as this creates a circular template call, and MediaWiki doesn't render the items properly on the individual item pages. Thanks. --Pcj (T •C ) 19:45, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
Laurlybot taggin
Apparently you like(d) to tag for Laurlybot. That's cool. But when I see it on quest names that really shouldn't have a tag (obvious typos, very odd quest names, etc), then I really wonder what in the world you're thinking.
Examples: Quest:First Quest Name, Quest:Galaen's Fateeam --g0urra[T҂C] 08:11, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Thankyou for finding the icon ... I was drawing a blank at what it might have been called. {T •C ) 05:43, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
- Just open it up on Wowhead and double click the icon there, a prompt window will pop up with the icon name in it. Zurr T ∙ C 07:06, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

Login issues
Hey, we had some user account issues earlier - if you are able to login okay, please prod me. If not, can you try and contact me somehow - IRC would probably be best. Thanks! Kirkburn talk contr 19:21, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
Bag of Fishing Treasures
Why did you remove [Vengeful Gladiator's Idol of Tenacity] from the drop table for Bag of Fishing Treasures? According to its Thottbot entry it has been found, albeit rarely, in both versions of the Bag. —MJBurrage(T•C) 15:17, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
- Because it is most likely a bug, or a false report. Those things are not 100% accurate. And it being an season 3 arena item should have given that away. Zurr T ∙ C 15:27, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Even if it was a bug that the game gave this to someone, shouldn't it still be reported? As for a false report, I though that the Thottbot data was collected from live via an add-on, are you saying that the add-on sometimes reports drops that did not happen? —MJBurrage(T•C) 15:41, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
- A bug in thottbot, not the game. Addons are commonly fooled by in-game events, I once got a mob to say I looted something that was crafted with the addon Mobinfo. Zurr T ∙ C 15:47, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
It's Magister's Terrace
Go to your LFG tool. Open the Dungeon pane. Look at how it's spelled. Also, http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/dungeons/magisters-terrace-gallery.html
Actually, looking around their web site, they can't seem to agree on a spelling. But it's Kael's Terrace. It's his place. It doesn't belong to the random Sunfury Magisters inside, just him.
Ah, screw it. Blizzard can't figure out which it is. In the game, as on the website, it shows up as both, depending on where you look. Tuxedobob (talk) 04:51, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
