Please leave a message on my talk page if I can help with anything! -- Howbizr (Talk) 00:28, October 7, 2009

Re: Noob question, please forgive me[]

In general, no, there's no checklist. Things are on the honor system. People are expected to edit things as they see fit. But beyond just editing prose (text), there are some pages to help guide new contributors in the right direction. WP:MOS, the Manual of Style is the big one. From there, there are links at the top to other guidelines as well as the rules, if you're interested in reading more.

But the general wiki way is, in this scenario, you can delete whatever you want, and you should have used discretion or your own research to verify what should be deleted. Hopefully you left a little note in the comment box before you clicked "save" so people can see that on the history tab in case they disagreed with your edit. And if they did, they can always revert your change, or make additional edits. Hopefully that helps!

Also if the little comment box isn't big enough, and you want to leave a longer comment, please do so on the talk page of the page you edited. /chomp‎ Howbizr(t·c) 3:12 PM, 8 Oct 2009 (EDT)
