Again, welcome!   --Pcj (TC) 12:19, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

Boilerplating[]

Two things I'd just like to remind you of:

  1. There is no target= parameter in {{infobox ability}}, or it is simply missing.
  2. The correct category is "<Class> abilities", not "<Class> Abilities". --g0urra[T҂C] 18:51, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Good reminder! I suspect that many errors are creeping in due to my heavy dependency on the Boilerplate document itself. I'll go make sure that it too is correct. User:JIM the Inventor/Sig1 18:54, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Tangential note: it's preferable to use |costunit= in conjunction with |cost= for {{Infobox ability}}; this makes the Mana/Rage/Energy/Focus link gray/white to match the rest of the tooltip's text, rather than using the default wiki link color created by |cost=42 [[Mana]]. -- foxlit (talk) 02:11, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Makes complete sense to me. You'll see that as the rule for all of my subsequent edits. User:JIM the Inventor/Sig1 03:11, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Daily quest[]

ok, then i guess put down "early in the am" as the time the day starts.. i watched the clock, and at 2am central time (where i live), my daily quests went from 23 to 25, as i got a message —The preceding unsigned comment was added by SilentBob420BMFJ (talk · contr).

group buff[]

It's generally a bad idea to transclude sections of pages, as you're doing with group buff. More often than not, pages get merged, etc etc, and I can persaonlly see that being a merge candidate.

It is almost always better to use a dedicated template when your objective is repeated information but only in a short section, as is evident in that case. =) --Sky (t · c · w) 19:04, 25 June 2008 (UTC)

Bot[]

Bot has been flagged - you need to set up it's user page similar to the other bots though. Thanks! Kirkburn  talk  contr 22:27, 26 June 2008 (UTC)

Lures...[]

Agreed, lures != tools, because they are consumed in the process. Thus like stat food, as you say, but more like sharpening stones or wizard oil. Thus: Imbues (where individual items were already included). --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 15:40, 16 July 2008 (UTC) Edit: including Lures as a category in Imbues because of how lures are defined: To be a lure it must enhance the fishing pole skill temporarily. --Eirik Ratcatcher (talk) 15:42, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

Style suggestion[]

When formatting quest articles, please just use a single blank line between paragraphs, as two blank lines is too much vertical space.

Thank you very much for your help in adding Wrath quests! Please keep up the good work! --k_d3 23:53, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

Here's a random quest article double-spaced, and here's my sandbox. A screencap of my sandbox is linked from the latter. --k_d3 16:46, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Quests[]

Don't forget to mark new quests with {{Stub/Quest}}. g0urra[T҂C] 17:08, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Template engineer[]

I notice you applied to be a template engineer awhile back. I've recently taken charge of the team, and am trying to go in a slightly different direction with it. If you're still interested, I could use your help. Thanks. --PcjWowpedia wiki manager (TDrop me a line!C207,729 contributions and counting) 13:45, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I've got a few ideas, see Wowpedia talk:Template Engineers. Also, welcome to the team. --PcjWowpedia wiki manager (TDrop me a line!C207,729 contributions and counting) 13:25, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
