Nice work Edit
Re: Mage Talent Analysis Edit
I found the article as a whole to be a very useful break down of mage talents. It's especially useful for mages who are respeccing drastically from one spec to another and aren't quite sure how the other trees new talents work. I'm glad you liked my contribution to the Slow and Torment sections. While you are right and Blizzard is likely to change it soon, until they do it is an invaluable DPS increase for Arcanists. As far as the Combustion section goes I think your wording clears up what I was trying to say. Thank you for looking over it and thank you for the welcome. New 3.0.8 Arcane spec Edit
Hey, I saw your edit of my post on the 3.0.8 arcane spec, and wanted to run something by you before starting an edit war.
- Yes of course, I was just kind of hasty when I saw Torment in the middle. Put most of those builds there and was planning on updating based on Manly's Arcane Thread over in EJ.

Undoing Rearete removals Edit
- Aw duh. I see this guy with like 10 edits total and get a tad hasty. Adesworth talk to me 21:16, 20 March 2009 (UTC)
Penance's Healing coeff Edit
ElitistJerks is wrong with it's 105.x% coeff per tick on Penance. Long known theorycrafter Nightshroud in the Priest forums came up with the 161% coeff for Penance and placed this number on his sticky in the priest forums. I tested this discrepancy for myself and confirmed Nightshroud's 161% coeff.
Insect Swarm Coefficient Edit
Per your request, I added a source for the new IS coef. The source is actually from the 3.1 PTR. I haven't run a pure test against a target dummy in 3.1, but in heroics my IS tick has gone from about 770 in 3.09, to about 1020 in 3.1.
I run heroics at roughly 2200 SP. Damage multipliers for IS are 1.13 (E&M debuf), 1.3 (glyph), 1.03 (personnal E&M), 1.04 (Master Shapeshifter).
(215 (base damage/tick) + 2200*0.2) * 1.13 * 1.3 * 1.03 * 1.04 = 1030
