The Furbolgs - The New Alliance Race - LoreEdit
|Title||<The Silent One>|
|Character class||Brewmaster, Hunter, Shodo-pan|
|Position||Master of The Pandaren|
THIS SECTION IS UNDER SERIOUS CONSTRUCTION. The Pandaren have been a peaceful and quiet race in the fight of Azeroth. They have aided the Alliance and the Horde in many ways. From selling and buying brews to helping people like Rexxar slay demons, they have been excellent ally and a friendly race. Recently, a pandaren brewmaster journeying in central Northrend was selling a glass of Wounded Warrior Whiskey to a troll, when the troll spoke of the Dark Portal. Curious, the brewmaster asked about the Portal, and the troll told him all about Outland and Illidan Stormrage. The brewmaster was surprised at these stories and headed back to Pandaria. The brewmaster returned two months later, and told the city of Outland and Illidan. Unfortunately a traiterous gang of trolls followed the pandaren and attacked their homeland of Pandaria. They then thought poorly of the Horde and stood up to the Alliance. Their brewmasters now carry sharpened swords to fight if necessary. They are still a peaceful race, but they will fight the Horde if they must. The combat teacher of the pandaren, Shang-Ki, has recently been dubbed the leader of the pandaren city. His whole name is now Master Shang-Ki. He uses his wooden training sword to teach his novices, and uses his hand-made machette to engage in real combat. His favored ale is called Hong's Bravery Brew. He owns a crossbow called , which is a pandaren-styled crossbow. He uses it to hunt and fight. It fires a sharp arrow that, when hits, will shoot right through the target. The pandaren geomancers have seen visions of The Emerald Dream being sabatoged by the Nightmare. Now the Emerald Nightmare has found a way into Azeroth, and has darkened the skies and drawn attention the Burning Legion's attention. The Legion has now come to Azeroth, seeing that the Nightmare has struck fear into its races, and they have planned their final battle to conquer Azeroth forever. The pandaren have seen the visions many times and have stepped up to the call of the final war with the Burning Legion...
Racial passive ability:
- Eye of the Earth Mother (slows down all enemies in a cone in front of the caster, 40 yard range), 2 min cooldown
"There is so much to fix in this world, and yet little time to fix it."
The Ogre - The New Horde Race - LoreEdit
|Maugrimn the Destroyer|
|Title||<Warlord of the Stonetalon Clan>|
|Character class||Demigod, Ogre Lord, Warrior, Blademaster|
|Relative(s)||Gruul the Dragonkiller|
The Ogres have been a violent race ever since they stepped through the Dark Portal. They have scattered throughout Azeroth, some becoming infamous. Now, a tribe of ogres who live in an enclave of the Stonetalon Mountains, have fallen under attack by Garrosh Hellscream and his army, thirsty for power. After a series of devastating battles, they have finally fallen to the might of the Horde. Their gronn ruler, Maugrimn the Destroyer, self-proclaimed Successor of Gruul, has sworn his ogres' loyalty to the Horde. Sent by Hellscream to enslave the Barkskin furbolgs of Hyjal, a select legion of warriors, led by Maugrimn, travels through the Barrow Deeps to Barkskin Hold, which lies miles outside of Hyjal, tucked secretly into a mountainside...
Racial passive ability:
"There is one world, and the weak beings who cannot bring war to it - do not deserve to live."
The Demon Hunters of Azeroth belong to a secret faction called the Belore Dracon, or Sun Dragons in Thalassian. Belore Dracon was founded years ago by Shang-Ki, ruler of the Pandaren. The most famous Demon Hunter, Illidan Stormrage, was formerly a well-known member of the Belore Dracon, but after becoming the Betrayer was banned from the secret isle for eternity. The Demon Hunter class has a special ability that can be used only on demons. The ability is called Fel Cleansing, and it removes the demon of their Fel soul, which may do heavy damage. If the demon lives, the Demon Hunter can tame it, much like a Hunter could do with a beast. If the demon dies, then the soul would be sucked into the Demon Hunters mystical staff, granting them the ability to transform into that demon at will.
The vicious Buccaneers of the Defias Brotherhood have spread to far more than just a small gang. Other outlaws have been inspired, and have took to the seas to plunder the goblin shipments of Azeroth. The starting items for these sea-lovers are a rusty sword and a small flintlock. A special profession has been introduced especially for the Buccanner class. Buccanners must build, paint, and name thier ship and then take to the seas to plunder. Ships driven into the Maelstrom have been known to mysteriously dissappear, which has led to the idea of a portal to Argus being formed in the center. Anyone can board a Buccanners ship, but only Buccanners can build one. Buccanners can build bigger ships as they level up more and more.
The Pandaren Brewmasters have been selling famous and infamous brews for centuries. When a group of goblins started to sell and create brews themselves, it soon spread across the globe. Now brewing shops have been founded across Azeroth. Buy a brew recipie and then follow the instuctions to create the brew. There are three ways to make a brew: stirring, shaking, or swirling. Swirling makes the brew light and bubbly, stirring makes it smooth and tangy, and shaking makes it heavily alchohalic and rough. If you add or miss or make any mistake with the brew while making it, and don't fix it quickly, you get an Unstable Brew. Drinking this may give you a super-enhanced ability for a period of time, or you may go crazy and attack allies or say things that you don't mean to. Brewmasters specialize in close-combat melee fighting.
