Western Darrowmere Forest
The Forsaken Renegade Front was formed organization of Forsaken that abandoned the Horde after Sylvanas Windrunner's death at the hands of Nathanos Blightcaller, who has become the new leader of the Forsaken.
After the death of Sylvanas Windrunner, Magan Blastlich, who was a loyal servant to her, gathered hundreds of Forsaken defectors to join by his side and avenge her death. In Western Darrowmere Forest, the Forsaken Renegade Front took control of the island fortress of Caer Darrow, home of the Scholomance, which was once the major Scourge holdout west of the Thondroril River. There, they gathered a few remnants of the Scourge to serve by their side.
In the World of Warcraft: The Dark Below, the Forsaken Renegade Front, led by Lander Ghoulhunter, were able to take over Andorhal. However, the ruined city became a second war zone when the Death Knights Thassarian and Koltira Deathweaver, led their forces to engage the enemy. The combined forces relentlessly slaughtered the Forsaken Renegade Front and ultimately defeated Lander.
After the Thassarian and Koltira enter a second truce and that Andorhal should belong to the Argent Crusade, the remaining renegade troops were forced to retreat and travel to the Writhing Haunt. Lieutenant Myner and a group of soldiers from the Argent Crusade took action by fighting against the Forsaken attackers and with the help of an adventurer, they were able to kill every last one and burn their corpses to the ground.
The war against the Forsaken Renegade Front was not over and Magan was enraged by this. When he learned that the Gnolls from the Sagepaw Legion took over Gahrron's Withering, he sent a second battalion to attack Sorrow Hill and slaughter all the living individuals in the area. The Alliance Militia witnessed their seizure and defended the area until they overwhelmed them. The remaining Forsaken Renegade troops retreated to the crypt, but Commander Ashlam Valorfist noticed this and tasked an adventurer to deal with them.
Together, the Alliance and Horde forces launched their attack on Caer Darrow, hoping to cleanse the remaining Forsaken Renegade troops and their leader.
