Timeline (RPG Player's Guide Series)

This article contains information from the Warcraft RPG which is considered non-canon.

-147,000	Titans arrive on Azeroth. They create the dwarves ("Earthen").
-64,001	The titans depart, empowering the dragonflights to care for the world and the Well of Eternity.
-9,999	War of the Ancients. The continent is split in two, forming the Maelstrom.
-7,300	Night elves banish the the Highborne from Kalimdor, and close their borders.
-6,800	Highborn settle in Lordaeron, the first elves to visit the continent since the War of the Ancients. They settle in the north and call their new country Quel'Thalas; they change their name to high elves.
-2,800	Humans build the nation of Arathor to unite against troll attacks. Humans and high elves meet and become allies.
-1,200	Arathor becomes over-populated, and internal strife causes it to break apart into seven independent nations.
-230	War of the Three Hammers.
1	The First War begins.
4	First War ends.
5	The Alliance of Lordaeron is formed.
6	Second War begins. Horde destroys much of Quel'Thalas. The alliance forces them to retreat to Stormwind.
7	Orcs reconstruct the dark portal.
8	Rhonin leads an attack on Dragonmaw Clan.
10	The Lich King Ner'zhul corrupts Kel'Thuzad of Dalaran. The cult of the Damned is formed.
25	The Third War begins. After a short struggle the Third War ends. Night Elves join the Alliance.
26	The alliance loses members as most surviving high elves join Illidan, calling themselves Blood Elves.
29	Daelin Proudmoore leads an assault on Durotar.
30.	Present Day.
