Detail

From the lead paragraph, with italics added for focus;

It is a culminating event for the Horde to occur before the release of the next expansion, Cataclysm, slated for patch 3.9.0.

I cannot find the explicit Blizzard statement regarding this being IN 3.9.0. At the time of the announcement (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=23766990257&sid=1&pageNo=1) the URLs including /3p9/ was used to infer patch 3.9 . Was there confirmation? The quests are active in the PTR for patch 3.5 . 'speculated' or 'assumed' might be a better choice than 'slated'.

No confirmation except the url was given, but administrators deemed it enough to say those events are to happen for 3.9.0.

It was merely a placeholder till the actual patch number was known, but now they say it will not be patched in... which technically it would have to be patched in even if not turned on... It might be merged into the undocumented notes of patch 3.3.5. We'll see. SnakeSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3For Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 01:23, May 29, 2010 (UTC)
I'm confused, is the event out on normal servers yet, or is it only on test servers? And if it is not on the normal servers yet, does anyone know when it will be?

Name

Since this event was never really named, this one was basically created on what it is... this has since changed. It's been referred to as Zalazane's Fall. So question is, should we move the article there or leave it as the more descriptive name. SnakeSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3For Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 01:23, May 29, 2010 (UTC)

I was about to comment on that myself. Change it, I think. --Joshmaul (talk) 03:04, May 29, 2010 (UTC)
Move to the official name. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 06:35, May 29, 2010 (UTC)
Yeah I agree, this should be called Zalazane's Fall. A lot of the music files released before the event was up on the PTR use the prefix "ZF" and the feat of strength (also released early) uses that name. I think the only reason wowwiki went with "Liberation of the Echo Isles" is because the name "Zalazane's Fall" was never visible in-game (except if somebody linked the incomplete Feat of Strength, which itself first required looking it up on a 3rd party site). If this gets changed (I'm going to assume this is a big decision best left to an admin), care should be taken to also change references to it as well (mostly pages referencing "Operation: Gnomeregan," so it wouldn't be too hard to catch them all. Ok everything important enough, has been fixed. SnakeSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3For Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 16:40, May 29, 2010 (UTC)

Videos

While I'm one to hate embedded videos on pages that really don't need one, even this article is a fine example of one that really doesn't need one, I won't remove it, just cause this is a limited time event and it would be nice to have video evidence of what occurred here.
