Vindicator doesn't seem to mean paladin, specifically

Actually if you follow the class quest line, draenei paladins are called paladins from the start by the draenei trainers. The term vindicator doesn't actually show up until later in the quest lines. It appears to be more of an order than a class name.Baggins 11:48, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Many paladin NPCs and in particular paladin trainers have the vindicator title. --N'Nanz 12:02, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Sure there appears to be interchangeability, but they definitely use the term "paladin" too, perhaps more often in direct speech. Its not like they seperate the two. Best I can tell its a paladin order, but also a title for members within the order. It also seems that one starts out as a paladin, but one gets initiated into the order later on.Baggins 16:57, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

I think this is a racial honorific too. I do not know the quest.--SWM2448 19:23, 11 November 2007 (UTC)

Could just be for the convenience of players new to the Draenei, who don't know what a vindicator is. And while i personally think that a vindicator is just their term for a paladin, i do like your theory of it just being the title for a mamber of the Hand of Argus.--Truckman1 17:35, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
