After todays PTR update I went looking through the MPQ's for anything new (such as finding they added tauren and orc inn music finally) and saw something that really got my attention in the charactar drop down in model viewer. Something tells me Blizzard did not mean to add this into the PTR patch and it prob will be removed. http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l69/leviathonlx2/tuskarr.jpg http://i93.photobucket.com/albums/l69/leviathonlx2/tuskarr2.jpg [[User:Leviathon|Leviathon]] 02:47, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

According to the pictures Blizz released couple of days ago most Tuskarr we're about to see are friggin virgins, as they lack the colourful vests made by wives. It's ok that we probably won't see any female Tuskarr as we also never got to seeing female ogres etc,. Also, is it just because Blizzard's too lazy to dress them for the photoshoot or are they going to be that naked all the time?

Shamanistic?

User TuskarR, how do you know they're shamanistic ?--K ) (talk) 05:11, 2 November 2006 (EST)

In WCIII TFT Tuskar shamans appeard during the Undead Campaign. Sorry , if this question was spefic for User TurskarR(Duke Ragereaver 16:03, 29 October 2007 (UTC))

No, thanks for answering ;-)--K ) (talk) 15:09, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

Penguins my rear end

Tuskarr do not raise penguins. Tuskarr do not tame penguins. Tuskarr do not farm penguins

Tuskarr have NO dealings with penguins and those two quotes are grade A made up rubbish. Instead, I've replaced that rubbish with some verifiable information from Lands of Mystery about how the Tuskarr assume that someone who can fish is a highly moral person

You find the source of this penguin stuff? Tell me, then we can argue about how it didn't appear in Lands of Mystery --Mecheon 20:19, 10 November 2006 (EST)

In a WC III TFT Mission featuring the above-named Tuskarr, there's a big enclosure full of penguins. I can even take a screenshot for you if you wish. That's the only material proof for that speculation which seems a bit stupid, let alone they helped the Alliance (they were mercenaries).--K ) (talk) 05:12, 11 November 2006 (EST)

Hmm, can't say I remember that one. But it appears to be considerably retconned out of here. And entirely agreeing on the Alliance comment, Tuskarr are probably about as neutral as the Pandaren. Speaking of which, I'm gonna head over there as a just in case precaution seeing as I've already had to deal with some comments about them and Alliance race on Wikipedia --Mecheon 02:51, 13 November 2006 (EST)

If you have evidence that at least some tuskarr pen up penguins according to warcraft III then I have no reason for that info not to be in the article. However the comment needs to be qualified, with "some" or "a few" rather than implying that all tuskarr breed penguins, as the majority are into fishing. Tuskarr also farm a bit as well-Baggins 09:55, 13 November 2006 (EST)

Wait, I thought the Tuskarr do farm? Mr.X8 01:07, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Northrend Expansion Race?

If the Lich King were to start attacking the lands to the south of Northrend and the continent's inhabitants than perhaps the Tuskarr would send emmisaries to the south and be repelled by the night elves seeing them as barbaric and so the horde akes them in.Starting area in Stonetalon Mountains?(Really high up)(Area not used nearby)

If any race was to have a starting zone in Stonetalon, it would be the Pandaren. That is doubtful, but much more possible then the Tuskarr leaving their villages and moving into a hotly contested territory. That reserved space may be used as a neutral port to Pandaria.
Tuskarr would likely start in Northrend itself. But it may be morelikly they will stay a neutral and unplayable race, they lack the following Pandarens carry, and everyone knows the Goblins will be playable horde with either the next expansion or the one after. The Horde needs engineers something bad.
Back to Tuskarr, No one has every heard of them out side of this Wiki. If that were to change then it would be awesome, They would add a lot of Cultural interest, just like the BE and Draenei did. (I love Blizz for that choice. XD) they would include an expansion to fishing and likely frost resist gear.
As for which side they would (maybe) side with, hwo knows, they don’t seem to have any standing with any race. With the encampment of Dwarves stuck there in the Northrend, maybe the Tuskarr would just fall into the Horde. The Alliance would find their old Dwarven friends and be happy. The Horde seems to be decent fishermen….-Rush 1:16, January 30 2007 (EST)

IF it is the expansion race would someone mind to remove the non-WoW classes from the class list?Since I'm not sure how... I mean...there is no Healer class and i doubt there will ever be one named like that. --Pimmeh 04:42, 20 April 2007 (EDT)

Warcraft RPG. It's a 'general term' for classes like Shaman, Priest, Druid, and Witch Doctor. --Super Bhaal 22:57, 6 May 2007 (EDT)
Actually, healer is more of an unspecialized class, for someone who wants various spells from different domains but doesn't want to specialize into more specific Shaman, Priest, Druid, and Witch Doctor, etc classes. The specialized classes are healers, but not all healers are specialized classes. In anycase, RPG classes get mentioned due to "lore" reasons, as well as WC3 connections as well.Baggins 16:53, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
I think Tuskarr will be on some island off the coast of Northrend (they got attacked by the Scourge and then ran away), while Nerubians will be underground in Northrend (the Scourge there would be low-leveled, and there would be beast enemies like spiders and humanoid enemies like Faceless). Saimdusan 01:20, 15 June 2007 (UTC)
Hm but the map doesnt show any islands, does it? It is highly doubtful that the Tuskarr will be the new Horde race. I said Horde because alliance is out of the question. --Pimmeh 20:52, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
What makes Alliance "out of the question"? I can't see them joining either faction, although it would be funny seeing a fishing competition between the collective leaders with the winner getting to buddy up with the tuskarr. If anything, the Tuskarr will be a neutral NPC race like goblins and have nothing but fishing vendors and killable mobs that drop ultra fishing enchants. And buckets. WotLK discussion said there aren't going to be new races. D: --Super Bhaal 21:16, 9 August 2007 (UTC)
It has already been officially stated that Garrosh formed a friendship/alliance with them, indicating that they are the Mag'har equivalent in WotLK, with the Iron Dwarves probably being the Alliance counterpart.

Its confirmed that Valgarde is a Horde town Zarnks 02:24, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

Which is, of course, not what you meant to say ... User:Kirkburn/Sig3 02:33, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

I meant Kaskala. Zarnks 02:37, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

How could there be no new races. Theres the Vrykul, iron dwarves, and those proto dragons. Blizz says theres no lore on them because they didn't make them up yet. Mr.X8 01:04, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Playable races.--SWM2448 01:06, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Maybe there are going to be new races, but just think. If the new races aren't similar to the old ones that means adding new leveling up zones just for them. About the Vrykul not becoming a playable race i think this is enough - "These formidable warriors have begun attacking Horde and Alliance settlements, and many of the vrykul are pouring out of the fortress of Utgarde Keep". And besides, most of those races don't even get close to the potential of the old ones...--Grievous 09:45, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

WotLK Picture

The picture is here, it's not much, but it's all we got: http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/www.wowinsider.com/media/2007/08/img_1561.jpg

Here's what they have to say about the Tuskarr: "Tuskarr - A fun race. They were a joke when designing Frozen Throne. It really took off. It terms of Northrend, there are so many brutal, evil cultures. The Tuskarr serve as a relief. They pick up their villages and travel nomadically along the coastlines. There are a number of Easter Island like carvings that track their travel paths." RogueJedi86 03:18, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

Religion

Tuskarr are known to worship various bucket-like icons and relics, as part of their culture. One quest in Northrend, Has you seen my bucket?, revolves around this.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Lsrei (talk · contr).

Until this is cited I moved it here. It is a reference tho the 'I has a bucket/no they be stealin my bucket' LOLCAT.--SWM2448 17:18, 8 August 2007 (UTC)

Well then obviously that'll be time to allow it :) User:Kirkburn/Sig3 18:43, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure Blizzard will. Monty Python references, Star Wars references, internet memes...it's only a matter of time before that dude who sends you out on hunts at Thunder Bluff asks you to go to Northrend and find the elusive Longcat. --Super Bhaal 11:01, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

what's a longcat? Mr.X8 01:43, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Longcat is looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong. --Super Bhaal 02:00, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
What does a stupid 4chan meme have to do with Northrend OR the tuskarr? Clearly unrelated. DESU! --Kulsprutejojjo 18:52, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
You think? This was off-topic vandalism from the moment I removed it from the main article.--SWM2448 21:51, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

I have to say, lets get rid of everything with longcat on this websiteMr.X8 00:54, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Even if we knew about their religion i doubt anyone would be interested. I think the tuskarr are going to be just another mob on WoW used for quests and grinding --Grievous 09:53, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

Hunting/Fishing

While it's rather obvious that the Tuskarr will have a leatherworking trainer at their village, Baggins' latest update about the fishing made me think. Maybe they'll use the Tuskarr to implement some (more) fishing quests :) Even a repeatable fish turn-in quest would be cool.

Yeah, and there'd be a bucket as a fishing container. :D That would be cool, though, especially if they judged you by your skill in fishing, and made the rewards really worthwhile ( imagine getting some really nice fishing poles or leatherworking/cooking recipes that gave insane buffs ). --Super Bhaal 11:01, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

Obviously they'd have to balance it out by giving the Alliance counterpart fishing quests as well... --User:Vorbis/Sig

Alliance had their fishing quests in Westfall, now it's our turn ~ User:Nathanyelŋɑϑ 15:15, 26 August 2007 (UTC) (kidding)
Westfall? Don't tell me that fishing at level 80 for Alliance will be confined to a low level zone... ^^ --User:Vorbis/Sig
Again, kidding ;) I'm just a bit pissed at the amount of secondary profession content (quests and recipes) that was put into the low-level zones of the Alliance, compared to the Horde content. ~ User:Nathanyelŋɑϑ 09:32, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
Would have been cool if they were friendly to both factions, as they once were according to Lore, and you earn rep and loot with them based on fish you bring them, ;). Basically the story goes if you bring them a fish, they are your friend for life, doesn't matter who you are.Baggins 09:34, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
...so, like, if you were Gul'dan and you brought them an oily blackmouth or a Darkshore grouper they'd look past your reputation and be your friend anyways? That's almost as cool as tauren tolerating Forsaken. As for them being friendly with the Horde, I was kind of hoping they owuld be from the moment I learned of them, as awesome as they'd look carrying picks into battle with dwarves and gnomes. However, if this weren't an MMO I could see them giving members of the Alliance at least a chance before jumping on them. --Super Bhaal 11:51, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

the arcane

Are they really listed somewhere as sorcerors? Mr.X8 23:35, 26 September 2007 (UTC)

There's a Tuskarr Sorcerer unit in Warcraft III ( which required as much food as a freaking siege engine and only cast Inner Fire despite being a "sorcerer", which casts arcane spells ), and since ( despite MMORPG limitations ) anyone can become anything in Warcraft I'm sure there are somewhere ( could just be a certain tribe or clan or splinter group, much like there are tauren magi and warlocks according to HPG, or the Burning Blade Clan ). The tuskarr, despite having shaman in their ranks, don't seem the type to argue against arcane magic all that much. I'm sure they'd buddy up with Kil'jaeden if he could fish. --Super Bhaal 00:45, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure in WCIII, sorcerors had fire spells, could be wrong though. Mr.X8 01:39, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

Read and weep. They usually had at least one humanoid "sorcerer" you could hire at mercenary camps-- eredar sorcerer, tuskarr sorcerer...murloc sorcerer. --Super Bhaal 02:02, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
Be it sorcerer or any dps caster class. Super Bhaal, wasn't your attitude a bit childish? You don't have to be offensive Smiley--K ) (talk) 19:28, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
Hmm? I wasn't trying to be, I was just expressing my distaste at how much food tuskarr sorcerers used, when I could be using that food for other things ( like necromancers or banshees or a mortar team ). The "read and weep" might have sounded like an attack of sorts, but I was just thinking that others would cringe at the food cost like I did.

I'm sure if we were to bump into them in WoW ( the sorcerer units, that is ) they'd have a combination of mage and priest/shaman spells. I'm not taking back what I said about them becoming good friends with Kil'jaeden if he could fish. Just imagine it: Kil'jaeden sends the Legion to Northrend, himself leading, and happens upon the tuskarr. He starts fishing ( because he just seems the kind of person to appeal to others' interests like he did with Ner'zhul ), all the while explaining to them his wishes to undo existence. At first they're kind of skeptical, but when they see he can catch a whale by flicking his wrist, they squeal with delight, drink some of Mannoroth's blood Kil'jaeden had kept in a cooler, and terrorize Azeroth. --Super Bhaal 20:28, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

I must say that I believe you. Let's get this started! Tuskarr for the Legion! We might discuss this on irc.--K ) (talk) 21:25, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
He'd get my soul with that, too :) ~ User:Nathanyelŋɑϑ 12:54, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
They have a spellcaser unit and judge people on how they fish. Is there a limit though? I have never read one... --SWM2448 16:43, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Tuskarr for the Legion?! This is blasphemy! This is madness! Garm 16:45, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Mmm, I'm not too sure about what I said, but that'd make for a pretty funny scenario. And no, this is Sparta. --Super Bhaal 19:55, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

First of all, Super, I know it was joke a joke, and I do not mean to sound rude its "read it and weep". And second, I HATE THE 300!!!!! No one ever heard the real story. I mean sure, they defended one pass. It was more the Athenian Navy. And second, all those elephants, and rhinos, and those creepy, are fake. Persia never used anything close to that in the War. And second, that movie was pure garbage. It downplays my people's history and makes it look like the real War was all sex and war. Oh and Darius never came to Greece, he stayed in Sparta. Oh yeah, the swords were mixed up, the straight edged swords the Persians used, were the types the Greeks (my people) used, and the scimitars the Spartans used, were the ones the Persians would have used. Hope this shows you our side of the story, not stupid Marvel comic's, Mr.X8 00:51, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Just to point it out but the Spartans fought alongside the Thebians which had a larger force with around 700, and also died there.Baggins 00:56, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
Wow, I did not know how much rambling about the 300 movie had to do with how the tuskarr practace arcane magic. When you look at a talk page do you say to yourself 'How far can I get this off topic and irrelevent to editing the article?'. This goes for not just one of you (And me...).--SWM2448 00:57, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Well I'm sorry. If I heard one more blasphemous thing on them, I was going to throw up. Well then Baggins, you know as well I do that movie was just pulp fiction. Mr.X8 01:00, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

I was talking to everyone includeing myself (I said 'and me'). I should practice what I preach... --SWM2448 01:04, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Yes, its pulp fiction, its based on a graphic novel, old news, everyone knows that (it was also based more on the myth of the Spartans than the actual history). That comic was not the only source to make a big deal out of the 300. However, please get back on topic.Baggins 01:05, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

There was a tuskarr Sorcerer unit in Warcraft III so they may practice arcane magic. Arcane attracts the Legion so, based on their morals being all about fishing, Kil'jaeden could catch a whale and befriend them. Demon walruses FTW?--SWM2448 01:11, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

Maybe long ago they erected great Tuskstones, or Bucketstones, that keep the Legion out? Just think about it...when the night elves were being slaughtered and the trolls were maiming each other, the tuskarr were probably out enjoying themselves, making pretty vests, hasing buckets, and fishing. Protected or not, the Runestones of Quel'thalas kept demons out, but did nothing to keep orcs, trolls, and ogres out, so the Scourge could probably inadvertently knock one over, and my scenario could take place, and nothing would be more frightening than a glowy-eyed pick-wielding tuskar nearly ten feet tall, covered in spiky protrusions with razor sharp fangs and four-foot tusks, followed by blood-red baby seals. --Super Bhaal 02:34, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

They could be called Felkarr Mr.X8 01:25, 7 October 2007 (UTC)

Ya, and have a famous sorcerer named David Blaine. 'OMG itz David Blaine the demon magician with his demon madjik'. No seriously, Felkarr are totally in the cast.--K ) (talk) 13:42, 7 October 2007 (UTC)
I don't think Blaine has any use for Tuskarr. Just imagine how long it would take them to drown themselves... User:Nathanyelŋɑϑ 12:59, 8 October 2007 (UTC)

I just had the perfect idea. Someone go to the WoTLK Model Viewer (when it comes out obviously), get a tuskarr, and put the red eredar skin and eyes on it. Then we would have the mighty "David Blaine, master Felkarr sorcerer and leader of madjiks". Oh yeah, and give him like some warlock/mage tiers, and cool looking staff. Mr.X8 00:21, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

I shall try :D And make a spell that makes the foe piss orange soda.--K ) (talk) 10:58, 21 October 2007 (UTC)

Don't forget the spell that turns other into seals. I mean that's the most basic of Felkarr sorcerer spells! :D Mr.X8 23:05, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

Polymorph.--SWM2448 23:566, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
I can just see an RTS ability tree for Felkarr...
Polymorph> Permanently turns target into a seal.
Beetis> Target's abilities cost twice as much mana to use ( as target cannot speak normally; every word they say comes out sounding like a Liberty Medical advertisement ).
Revenge> Target is clubbed to death. More effective when numerous allies have died. --Super Bhaal 00:06, 24 October 2007 (UTC)

Felkarr are the P-I-M-P!!! Mr.X8 23:15, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

on "starting town" and playable race hype

As discussed in the Warcraft pump, the term "starting town" used in some BlizzCon video most certainly only refers to Kaskala being the first major contact with the Tuskarr. While Kaskala seems to be their "capital", it would be only logical that you don't meet Tuskarr only in one settlement and scattered in the area around. ~ User:Nathanyelŋɑϑ 13:24, 30 January 2008 (UTC)

Blizz stated that their wouldn't be any new races in Wotlk i'd have to agree with you, i'm sure some tuskarr live in some areas other than the borean tundra. It would be interesting if they were popular enough in this expansion to get a playable spot in the next though... but that's a long way off.Xlel 02:51, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Tuskarr odel

After todays PTR update I went looking through the MPQ's for anything new (such as finding they added tauren and orc inn music finally) and saw something that really got my attention in the charactar drop down in model viewer. I like how the tone I read that with was disillusioned. I agree with Shandris, the animations are adorable. :D Even when I'm forced to inevitably kill some tuskarr NPC or the other ( Bob the Bucket Thief of Kaskala, one of those NPCs UI mods tell you is a paladin but is actually a priest with rogue abilities that hits with daggers like an arms warrior that specializes in axes hits with axes ) I'm going to giggle like a schoolgirl whenever I see them making casting gestures inner fire spells. --Super Bhaal 06:19, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
If they're really associated with the Horde only, we have to set up patrols to prevent alliance raids on these cute fellas. ~ User:Nathanyelŋɑϑ 10:35, 19 February 2008 (UTC)
Cool. I'll be sure to find a high place to snipe PBs from, but does this mean it's okay for me to 1-hit seals with my staves? --Super Bhaal 14:00, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Can we add this?User:Airiph/sig 01:32, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Dis

It is from MMOchamp, so I do not know if we can take it. It seems a little big, can we get a shot of just one tuskarr?--SWM2448 02:06, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
As long as MMO-C is cited, there shouldn't be a problem. Kirkburn  talk  contr 10:30, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Both Factions?

Going by the Blizzcon map the Tuskarr are the neutral race while the Taunka in Borean Tundra are horde only friendly. Leviathon 15:32, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

I love the Tuskarr, and I loved them way before anyone else even knew about them. I know that if Garrosh made a pact with the Tuskarr and they are shamanistic creatures, there is almost no way Alliance will be allowed into their towns and encampments. I doubt they'd allow it with all the horrible things the Horde would have to say about the Alliance to the Tuskarr. ~ Lordrayken 20:26, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
Well the Horde isn't some highschool b'tch who does nothing but talk bad about the Alliance Tongueout While I'm sure the "cold war" was mentioned, it will certainly not make the Tuskarr disallow Alliance visitors. NE Druidism isn't that far off from shamanism (plus, see Timbermaw), there are Draenei shamans even, and I bet the Tuskarr already have had some kind of contact with Dwarves, either with the ones that followed Arthas, or Brann, who must've met them, too. ~ User:Nathanyelŋɑϑ 10:13, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
It was even further confirmed they are friendly to both factions. http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/wrath/features/factions/tuskarr.xml While some may show more liking to the horde the race as a whole is more independent and is friendly to both sides. Leviathon 19:56, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
Confirmed they are friendly to both factions huh? I haven't read a single thing about them being open or even caring about the Alliance in any way, what with Arthas being a HUMAN and everything. On the link you gave me, the only thing that shows they could be faction oriented is towards the horde, and I quote: "The tuskarr have seen their share of difficult times, but with the Horde's recent arrival they have found a new ally in the ongoing struggle against the hostile forces of Northrend." ~ Lordrayken 17:01, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Under the tuskarr is says in the box: Horde/Alliance Both. Brann was also friends with them.--SWM2448 22:14, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Brann? You have to remember Brann was also friends with the "Revantusk Forest Trolls." And hopefully we both know who that tribe is devoted to. Stay with me here when I say Brann does not speak for the Alliance. That's certainly an annoyance. I don't like the idea of Alliance and Horde both chilling out at their favorite new ally city, Kaskala. I don't see the Alliance -AT ALL- at home with the Tuskarr, they live in tents, build with whale bone, and practice heavy shamanistic magic. I don't like the idea of Horde and Alliance coming together anywhere other than classified true neutral areas that make sense like Icecrown Citadel or Dalaran (even Dalaran is a stretch), it does significantly annoy me that alliance will be comfortable and right at home with these "primitives." I mean, they mise as well drop their feuds with the Horde if they can ally with the Tuskarr, seriously. Really, I think Garrosh needs to reconsider what kind of races he's allying with if they are so comfortable and at home with his bitter enemies, so much so to house them in their own capital city. ~Lordrayken Lordrayken 04:13, 23 February 2008 (UTC)

Wait, first you say the Alliance wouldn't like to spend their time with those primitives, and then you attack the Tuskarr for being friendly to strangers? Apart from the shamanism part, orcs probably look just as alien to the Tuskarr eye than a human/elf. And again, I don't see problems with alliance tolerating shamanism, especially on a neutral faction (Zandalar anyone?), the night elves were friends with the Tauren back in the old days, plus Draenei ~ User:Nathanyelŋɑϑ 01:39, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Horde or What?

Up until recently these guys seemed like a horde exclusive faction due to their "pact" with Garrosh, but now the Wotlk page says they're neutral to Horde and Alliance, does this mean blizz changed their minds, or are they just more friendly to the Horde than the Alliance?Xlel 02:59, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Blizzard never really said they were horde only friendly players just inferred that from the story behind them helping the horde build Warsong Hold. Maybe they or a small group FAVOR the horde more but the race as a whole has not chosen a side. Leviathon 03:02, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

They are neutral like Dalaran. Zarnks 03:04, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Speaking of Dalaran, is it gonna be considered a Human city or a mage city?User:Airiph/sig 03:32, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

A Human-mage city. I'm sure we'll see something like what we currently do in silvermoon... floating objects, enchanted brooms sweeping the streets, etc. User:CoobraSssssssssssssssssssssssss User:CoobraFor Pony! {TDon't hiss at me.CIf you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all.) 04:27, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
You know what I think?? It's like the Scryers - they're MORE friendly with the Horde, but the Alliance can also prove their friendship with them... But that makes me think, Blizzard loves balance, what's the opposite of the Tuskarr? Not Taunka, right? They're 100% Horde, that's like making Orc alliance friendly or Gnomes on Horde side...lol I'm confused :S --  Shandris  talk / contribs 09:55, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
Actually since Tuskarr (a neutral faction) are apparently at odds with the Taunka (see new Wotlk page) i'd have to say they're probably hostile to everyone. (or maybe they'll play a role in the Grimtotem/Forsaken thing...) Xlel 11:51, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Theres almost certainly a hostile taunka tribe and a friendly faction. Zarnks 22:47, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Ooh, now that it's been changed to "Kvaldir" and "Gorloc" as opposed to Taunka and "local" murlocs it's looking like you're right... wait What's a kvaldir?Xlel 23:07, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

Wait, those taunka dudes at Icemist were said to be VERY helpful  IconSmall HighElf Male Mr.X8 Talk Contribs 04:47, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

So wth

According to the pictures Blizz released couple of days ago most Tuskarr we're about to see are friggin virgins, as they laack the colourful vests made by wives. It's ok that we probably won't see any female Tuskarr as we also never got to seeing female ogres etc,. Also, is it just because Blizzard's too lazy to dress them for the photoshoot or are they going to be that naked all the time? IconSmall Tauren MaleStöpa(talk) 11:54, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

They don't have females because they have no vests? Maybe the Tuskarr just have enough fur to not freeze. If females appear ingame, though, they will probably have bras/vests to not enrage those American prudes, though there probably wouldn't be any nipples visible with all that fur, like Tauren. ~ User:Nathanyelŋɑϑ 12:51, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
My point is, lorewise, Tuskarr men wear brightly coloured vests that their wives make for them AT ALL TIMES. =/ IconSmall Tauren MaleStöpa(talk) 14:08, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
