Description

Does anyone remember what the description of the Silvermoon Remnant was? Mannerheim

Faction?

The notes says it is a Faction, can you get points with em

The faction was (sadly) removed from the game because there was no real point of gaining rep with them. Mannerheim

What a shame, i would love to allign myself to High-Elfs. Gurluas 13:25, 27 January 2007 (EST)Gurluas

Faction?

How did this faction work when it was ingame? who gave you xp?

No one can remember, which is sad.--Mannerheim 01:21, 27 March 2007 (EDT)

No one can remember because there's nothing to remember. Silvermoon Remnant was a faction that was announced but never made it into the game. It was possibly a legacy of WoW from before the decision was made to add Blood Elves to the Horde. There are some High Elves in the game that are friendly to Alliance (for example the ones in The Hinterlands), but they haven't been organized into a faction (yet?).--Scrotch 00:01, 14 October 2007 (UTC)

Sources?

It seems to me this page has gone way outside bounds of reasonable "speculation" and "conjecture" no page about something that never tangiably existed should be longer than a small paragraph... I suggest the fanfic get moved to creator's page, and then this cut back to the bare facts, and a brief speculation section.Baggins 08:48, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

The information is basically a summary of the last parts of the article on high elves. The information is only speculation in regards to if it does apply to the Remnant or not. --Timolas 02:45, 6 January 2008 (UTC)

There's a lot of speculation on this page, I admit, but so what? The Remnant should be counted as a lore organization because the only reason it was removed is because there was no point gaining rep with them (like the Wildhammer Clan). Everything points towards the Remnant being mainstream (not a cult or something out of the ordinary), so therefore facts generally correct about High Elves will almost certainly be correct about the Remnant (take the fact that they're against the Horde). A lot of the speculation here is almost certainly correct for that reason, but it still is speculation and is labled as that. There's nothing wrong with a little speculation on a page, as long as it isn't misinterpreted as lore.--Mannerheim 01:05, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
