Dated November 1st, 2007. EMM&M simply refers to the unofficial fan-made PDF suppliment Even More Magic & Mayhem. This is the first time Luke has posted since September, and it seems he confirms that Dark Factions is indeed still in development. Someone may want to update the page with this info.

Revision as of 20:55, 2 November 2007

If its for independant factions why are the Fastriders and Spellbreakers in it? Zarnks 23:39, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

The trainwreck that is the affiliation with the Horde aside, the Blood Elves are independent. --Super Bhaal 05:07, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
Its also set pre-TBC most likely (maybe around the time Ghostlands (book) took place). As in before the blood elves joined the Horde. As for "Farstriders" where have you heard that info? Its not mentioned in Monster Guide.Baggins 01:53, 22 August 2007 (UTC)

Oh I got the info here.[1] Zarnks 05:20, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

PDF?

I read somewhere on the White Wolf boards ( well, okay. The World of Warcraft board. ) that Dark Factions might come out as a PDF. This statement wasn't made by a moderator, nor was it made by a White Wolf employee, but I guess that's food for thought...as well, some believe the release of an unofficial netbook ( Even More Magic & Mayhem ) might be some of the employees' way of saying, "sorry, game over". As earlier said, though, food for thought. Until then, goodbye Azeroth, hello Faerûn. --Super Bhaal 21:54, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

I believe the PDF rumor was started somewhere over on White Wolf Forums by a fan discussing an alternative for getting the book. It was apparently based on White Wolf's previously released book, Monster Guide Web Supplement which was sold rather than given out for free (as was implied it would be by Monster Guide). At the time of the release of that book members were giving several explanations as to why they chose that pattern, as I recall these included having to cover the cost of releasing it, and experimenting with the idea of future web only, pay content.
Unfortunately as of yet, no one at Whitewolf is talking. We don't much about what happened to MagusRogue after he lost his job at White Wolf. I'm unclear if he got his job back or got a new job elsewhere.Baggins 22:57, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

Came across this today: http://forums.white-wolf.com/viewtopic.php?t=65892

The info in EMM&M is not at all similar to that in Dark Factions.
