Images[]

Are there any images of these new hairstyles? I can't seem to locate any such at Wowhead. Tiraline (talk) 01:49, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

I know this isn't terribly helpful, but if you look at Sylvanas' page you'll see a hairstyle I believe they meant to implement but just now got around to implementing. I can imagine it'll be out soon. As well, Muffiny of WMV forums has a night elf Death Knight that appears to have a new hairstyle...doesn't look too night elfy. Hair looks too "thin", although it could just be the face. Too bad they don't have an eye makeup service...

Yes, the hairstyle on my Night Elf Deathknight is a Blood Elven one. I thought it fitted with the 'dead' face. It's also worth noting that the hair color in my pic is the only one that doesn't glitch with that style and make what looks like a colored 'bald spot' at this time.. Hair styles and character styles[]

Hmm, should make a new category for those images as well... Appearance images or Character appearance images ... I say images rather than screenshots, cause I assume most images might come from the WMV.

Problem with images coming from a WMV that reads files from a Wrath folder is that models now come in seperate pieces distributed throughout various .MPQs or something like that and it makes viewing them difficult, if not (currently) impossible. All I can display on the most current beta model viewer is items, and that's without particles. The guys at the WMV forum have more information, and theirs is likely more accurate than what I have to say. --Super Bhaal (talk) 03:46, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

Spoke too soon...looks like somebody's working on cracking the code, so to speak. I can link you to a download of his "fan update", but as it is a download who knows what it might have in it. Hair currently works for all playable races in this update, particle effects might work on some models, but animations do not work, nor do hairstyles for human, jungle troll, gnome or Forsaken males (all untextured). Models cannot be equipped at this time, nor can hair color or facial features be changed. --Super Bhaal (talk) 09:13, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Well I got the Hairstyles page started, with male trolls as the example, but I'll be on vacation starting in a few hours, so when I come back I hope to see someone at least attempting to add more... going to add to my to do list, cause I know I'm going to forget to check back here, when I do get back. Header image[]

I removed the big header image, but it has been reverted. I would like to discuss about this. Personally, I think embedding such a big image is just annoying. I takes a lot of space and does not even add a great value to the article. I mean, we have enough screenshots, so do we really need a big header image?--Iggey (talk) 00:20, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
