::::WE could follow that pattern if we need to split lore and dungeon pages, Zul'Aman might be a good canditate for example. As you noticed there we just allowed the combinationo of lore and dungeon info. But if people prefer splits, we can do that for all the dungeon pages.Baggins (talk) 10:26, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

Naga

The riplash ruins are in another zone entirely, so the naga should probably be removed from the ' Wild creatures' section Heenk 13:48, 1 February 2008 (UTC)

I wonder if the Old God that lives deep in Azjol'Nerub's children are the Forgotten Ones. In turn, their children are the Faceless Ones...—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Pwnerpwner (talk · contr).

Sign your posts. Perhaps, the only thing known about the term/race 'forgotten one' is that there is more than one, and they look like C'thun who is a confirmed old god.--SWM2448 23:09, 27 August 2007 (UTC)
another old god, but isnt that old god treated as a secondry dish? i mean we had a lot of info about Cthun and his armies (even info about armies marching without telling us what this old god is capable of is enough), but they make this old good look like a weakling, just give us some real sense of danger of this new boss >_<. --lucifersama 18:10, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
If anyone is interested, I have a fanfiction that (while I added some of my own creative elements - the second demon soul, for example, is unlikely) would probably be the most likely explanation.
You can get to my fanfiction page my main page. The link is in the opening paragraph. The name is "The Fall of Azjol'Nerub"... more info on just how Arthas managed to defeat the insidious "Old God" is coming in the sequel, "The Inner Kingdom". :D ~My rage bar is blue and I start the fight pissed - Peregrine 17:44, 16 June 2008 (UTC)

Underground Zone

It's the first "outdoor undergorund" zone - a cave under the heart of Northrend, vast enough to house massive structures and cities. [1] --User:Xmuskrat

It has instances IN it. It is not one itself.--SWM2448 21:25, 12 September 2007 (UTC)

Citation Proves Nothing

The Citation given that there is an Old God in one of the lower levels does not prove nor say that there is an Old God. The citation gives a site with an interview with Jeff Kaplan, he does not mention anything about an Old God. --User:FieryAxel 12:45, 5 April 2008

Copyright Question

Other than a few recent paragraphs, most of the article seems to have been lifted straight out of the 'Lands of Mystery' book- isn't that copyright infringement? Summarize and include would probably be fine, but I'm unsure if we're able to just copy text wholesale like that. If it isn't fine, I'm entirely willing to find a copy and rewrite it- just wanna make sure that a) we don't get sued and b) I don't have to put that much work into it. :P Evanfardreamer (talk) 12:46, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

I flagged it as such. We have a template for that.--SWM2448 22:11, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

In WotLK

While we aren't exactly able to discuss much on the Alpha figured I mind as well post this since it isn't that big of a thing. Right now it is seeming like Blizzard ditched the idea of Azjol-Nerub being a zone and is just making it several instances instead or they are just waiting till they have the above ground zones terrain set in stone before adding a underground zone. Leviathon (talk) 03:19, 3 June 2008 (UTC)

I was skeptical at the beginning of them doing a whole zone underground. But we haven't heard any official info one way or the other from above-board sources as of yet. So, no commentary in mainspace. --k_d3 03:24, 3 June 2008 (UTC)
In a interview Maticus of worldofwar.net asked my question at the WWI of whether Azjol-Nerub will be a zone or just instances now. While Brack was deliberately vague it seems like that if Azjol-Nerub as a zone will ever happen it will be patched in similar to Quel'Danas and the whole leveling zone idea was indeed dropped. Azjol-Nerub is confirmed as a dungeon in WotLK:

As it's confirmed to be an instance, i believe we should make a seperate page that will conform to the instance page module and merging the lore here with it or just keeping two seperate pages for lore/instance statistics. Amirw (talk) 20:26, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
I agree.--SWM2448 20:28, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Uh there are some problems with this, idea as has been pointed out to me. Some things that will break certain page name polices the bookeepers and style wiki style pages, and page name policies we have in place... "Nexus" and "The Nexus" is an improper split for example... 1. Page name titles must have "the" dropped from them unless it is the specific name of a story (novel, quest, etc). Place names are number one for "the" to be dropped from. Its also somewhat misleading. It was "The Nexus" in the rpg. We only dropped "the" because of page naming policies. Finally there is no reason to create two seperate categories, they are both the same place. So articles relating to that place should be put together. Baggins (talk) 10:37, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

New and old lore

Azjol-Nerub is now a two winged instance. I speculate that 'Azjol-Nerub' is the Upper Kingdom (instance/wing split needed?), Ahn'kahet: The Old Kingdom is the Old Kingdom and the regions of Inner Kingdom and Doorward are not in WoW.--SWM2448 18:38, 10 August 2008 (UTC)

There will eventually be a raid instance also with Yogg-Sarron. Leviathon (talk) 04:13, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
