This one's very tricky to get a hang of, take him at the bottom left of his patrol path, have 2 helpers clear the area before you start. bring a priest to rez / dispell you in case your attempt fails.
Strafe-train him up to, or about halfway to the down and he should be dead. apply the sting regularly, and shoot arcane shot rank 1 whenever available. the "distance" addon is recommended to be installed User:CrazyJack/Sig 09:39, 27 November 2006 (EST)

My 80 destro lock came across him in disguise around 59, 19. Attacked him, and after 2 incinerates on him he turned neutral again, and said "Only a fool would remain in this fight. Farewell, coward." Maybe because I had a voidwalker out, instead of doing it solo? Yeah, I know the actual quest is for hunters, but other sites (Wowhead) said he was doing 33k dmg to mages and so on. So I figured he definitely would fight non-hunters. --Markzero (talk) 09:16, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
