He is a noble Tauren warrior who took Cairne Bloodhoof's place unofficially when the old chieftain slipped into a depression once his son Baine was captured by Centaur. He appeared in Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne during the Founding of Durotar campaign at the Bloodhoof camp.
Luckily Rexxar, Bovan Windtotem, Rokhan and Chen Stormstout rescued Baine, bringing Cairne Bloodhoof back to his former state of wisdom and courage. Tagar also issued tasks such as the elimination of Harpies hunting the village's kodo herds.
