Useless speculation

I am editing out this paragraph:

"Based on the title, it will likely focus on Thrall and how he may serve the abandoned role of Aspect of Earth as was talked about by Chris Metzen at BlizzCon."

It's very likely the Metzen meant that comment as a joke or a red herring (think about how secretive Blizzard was about the Lich King fight and the end of Wrath, to the point that they put the files for the fight in after patch 3.3 proper... do you really think Metzen would spoil the ending before the expansion even came out?)

Besides, even if it turns out to be true, at the moment this paragraph is simply useless speculation. It is infering a whole lot from a short cryptic comment by Metzen and the title of a book. If a plot summary emerges from a credible source that claims that the book is based on Thrall becoming an Aspect of Earth, then we can put that in, but to put such speculation in now is simply misleading.Skreeran (talk) 15:36, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

Characters?

The book isn't out yet, so how can we sure that those are the characters appearing in it? --Sairez (talk) 23:57, 15 July 2011 (UTC)

It was added by LemonBaby. Reverting for now to not spread misinformation. --g0urra[T҂C] 00:16, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

It was for the most part incorrect but I added the confirmed ones as a Son of Storm guy gave away some information. Hallowseve15 (talk) 01:51, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

I used the list posted by Medievaldragon [1]. Don't know why think it was for the most part incorrect. Do you already have the book? --LemonBaby (talk) 10:17, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

No, I don't have the book, but I've seen spoilers about it on other sites related to WoW. Hallowseve15 (talk) 11:26, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

Ok, but which of the characters were incorrect according to your spoilers? --LemonBaby (talk) 11:27, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

Nevermind, I looked at the link and it seems relevant, so I would just add them all back, isn't he a Son of Storm? Hallowseve15 (talk) 11:29, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

I'm not sure but I think so...--LemonBaby (talk) 11:31, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
Wtf Sons of the Storm? Afaik, Blizzplanet's Medievaldragon posted some sneak peek info at Scrolls of Lore, where another user taht got an early copy, Anasterian, is posting a full summary. I think both are trustworthy.--Lon-ami (talk) 11:35, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

Regardless, the book isn't even out yet, and we're not allowed to post content that haven't been published. I can't find the exact source for that statement, but that's how it goes here. --g0urra[T҂C] 11:36, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

The link is in the forum, http://www.mmo-champion.com/threads/938078-Thrall-Twilight-of-the-Aspects-spoilers-%28read-at-your-own-risk%29. See it for yourself. Hallowseve15 (talk) 11:44, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

I searched for a Wowpedia guidline regarding book content but I couldn't find one. We used to post content about PTR or Beta long before official release. We even posted that Kalec will become the new Aspect when nothing has been published just be taking statements. So I'm not sure wheter it goes here that way.--LemonBaby (talk) 11:52, 16 July 2011 (UTC)

Nothing had been published about Kalec, no, but there was a direct statement by Metzen to that effect. Had we added it based on datamined information that would have been different. In this case, the official release date is the 19th; the fact that a few people got it early shouldn't change that. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 18:55, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, I say we don't remove what we have, but we shouldn't add anything more yet. Wait for the 19 and don't be impatient :P.--Lon-ami (talk) 10:31, 17 July 2011 (UTC)

Alternate versions

I suggest that each character from the alternate timeline should either get an own page or an own section (see Aedelas Blackmoore). Reason: They are not the same characters. They have a different history and even existed double in the case of Thrall. So lets handle this like other wikis with alternate timelines like Star Trek. The infobox about Aedelas Blackmoore beeing the Ruler of Lorderon just felt... wrong...--LemonBaby (talk) 19:32, 23 July 2011 (UTC)
