Soulshatter is a spell which reduces aggro on all targets within 50 yards by 50%.

Notes

This spell requires 8% of the warlock's base health. If the warlock doesn't have the required health, he/she will be killed upon casting.

Soulshatter can be resisted.

If you use Soulshatter around mobs that don't have any aggro at all, you will aggro them onto you. Be mindful of this at all times.

Tips and tactics

Soulshatter is best used in conjunction with a party or raid running KLHThreatMeter (a.k.a., KTM) or Omen. This way, the warlock can raise their aggro to just over the main tank's, then use Soulshatter to drastically lower it.

Known bugs

It has been mentioned that the fact that the warlock dies when the 8% base-health requirement is reached is a bug, though currently there is no news that Blizzard is working to fix this.^{[citation needed]}
