Conflagrate is a warlock Destruction spell which instantly deals 60% of the periodic damage of an [Immolate] DoT effect as Fire damage.
Conflagrate is acquired by selecting Destruction as your specialization when reaching Level 10 as a Warlock.
Notes
[Glyph of Conflagrate] Reduces the cooldown of Conflagrate by 2 seconds.
If another Warlock has an Immolate active on the target, the Conflagrate button will be ungrayed. However, you cannot cast Conflagrate unless you have an Immolate active on the target.
Talent improvement
- [Backdraft] causes Conflagrate to grant a buff which reduces the cast time of the next three Chaos Bolt, Shadow Bolt, and Incinerate spells by 30% at max rank for 15 seconds.
- [Aftermath] gives Conflagrate a 50/100% chance to [Dazed] a target hit by Conflagrate for 5 seconds.
- [Fire and Brimstone] increases crit chance by 15% at max rank.
Tips and tactics
Conflagrate is a devastating 1-2 punch, even at low levels, cranking up a DD spell such as [Shadow Bolt] (or [Incinerate] at higher levels) and then instantly following it up with Conflagrate will leave most mobs either dead, dazed, or both.
4.0.1 changed Conflagrate in a number of ways.
- Conflagrate no longer consumes the DoT of [Immolate].
- Conflagrate can no longer be used with Shadowflame.
- Since Haste now adds ticks to Immolate at certain points incrementally, raising haste to specific hot-spots will add an extra tick to Immolate, increasing the overall damage of Immolate, which causes a jump in the damage of Conflagrate.

This talent now consumes an [Immolate] or Shadowflame effect on the enemy target to instantly deal damage equal to 9 seconds of Immolate or 8 seconds of Shadowflame, and causes additional damage over 3 seconds equal to 3 seconds of Immolate or 2 seconds of Shadowflame. In addition, the periodic damage of Conflagrate is capable of critically striking the afflicted target.

- Template:Patched
